Actually quite a good way of thinking about it!

The way I like to use them is as flanker catchers, specially in defense. Due to low ammo is hard to fight against many units but 1v1 they just destroy.

Yeah have got a few of the rate of fire buffs from the tech tree now as well, run out of ammo even faster now XD

Ammo is more important my fr. The damage they deal so great but time to reload ammo ah shiet to. They can be assasin when back to supplier

@@QN-2222 I had a 100+ kill with them recently, just staying on the supply point. Ammo not a problem if you never leave :) Works well in some maps, garbage in others.

@@markvandergiessen3158 depends on map my fr. But it still my fav unit on road. This madafak boiz swing and sweep down everything on their way. Slow and sturdy.

Yeah the melee aggression on tercio is annoying, you can slightly get around it with focus fire but still quite annoying

I actually haven't spent much time using either unit recently but generally the kriegs have very good damage and very high accuracy but very low ammo count so your almost always moving between supply etc. I'd say give kriegs a good test out without the doctrines and see if you enjoy them more, if so move the doctrines over :)

The extra troops are handy it's TRUE but personally I think the loss of that 60% accuracy + rate of fire bonuses on all the other models exceeds the benefits of having 2 extra units

@@EvoLozGaming When you consider a +2 gain on troops, that's technically an 11% increase in all stats. On top of that, if you have unlocked tercios you get your melee bonus up to +63%, and you still get some of your accuracy from top line. I think the only thing you'd really be missing is the aim speed, though that is a larger part. Bottom line also makes you much tankier with the flat damage reduction.

Not at my computer at the moment to check but the only thing I can think off the top of my head is that there is a upgrade node on the chinese musket line that increasing musket units piercing damage by 2% (or something like that) maybe that also effects the kriegs?

imp arqs do more dmg with their volley fire, kreigs are tanky and easy to use

I think imperials are very good, maybe I'll have to do a direct comparison between imperials and kriegs. I dont think imp accuracy is crazy bad either and their damage is certainly higher but I find them clunkier to use and much easier to get killed if you make a mistake,

From what I have heard it explained, its hands on vs hands off: Krieg are the guns you bring to put down to auto hold a kill zone, with imp needing orders to be better. so if you get stuck into fights and forget to send orders, krieg are better by far. If you have time to set up firing lines and designate target, Imp have better potential.

Janni are somewhat different and more of a hero killer than kriegs, personally i think kriegs and tercio are still much better

They can feel like a struggle sometimes but once they get to higher levels they can still be very damaging :-D

For base stats only health increases with lvl nothing else

It would be interesting to test, it maybe that tercios hit per shot is higher but I doubt its drastically higher

It depends on your graphic card and RAM, I guess evo has gtx1080 or something with RAM of 16gb

I'm running an 8the gen i7, gets 1080ti and 16gb ram

I do sometime direct their fire with the 1 key and I try to make sure they are fairly close to the fight so they can hit easily

Possibly but I still find in a straight damage match get more kills damage quicker than tercio. Although I agree that tercio are far more tanky but then they cost more leadership so it's sort of a balance

@@EvoLozGaming i get youre point... but for me there are so many games where i just start and finish with the tercs and get a steady 120+ kills ...and i never manage that with the glass kriegs (sometimes i get good game but more often aong the way you keep losing units until you reach that point that a healthy other unit from supply is better then keep using a crippled musket unit in a match. and with the new leadership changes... the diffrence between those 2 units is smaller then before. and if i need to choose between tercs or... kriegs and desmne pikes (more or less same leadership total) ... then choice will always be tercs .. ow and on sidenote ... imp javis (thank you) i must be doing something right when enemy players ask me to NOT bring them anymore ;) lol

Yeah tercios need to be high level before they can be effectively compared, I do personally still really like my tercio but also really enjoyed these kriegs. Do agree about the auto locking though, can be kind of frustrating at times!

I mean I like my imperials dont get me wrong and they are a good unit but in my opinion less versatile and much easier to get killed of you make a mistake, but of course in the right position they do have higher dps

In frontier with the purple doctrines, imperials are the way especially for TW defense. But for random siege games, I would say kriegs are far more reliable to get value from.
