Conqueror's Blade - Revisiting The Shenji Grenadiers!

So we are back with some more Conquerors Blade as we finally get around to revisiting these Shenji Grenadiers! Always found these to be an enjoyable and fairly balanced unit but I didn't really get the play the Shenji Grenadiers all that much during the last video so I wanted to pull them back out and give them another go at fighting :D

Love the shenji grenadiers, they can instant kill hero in a single volley and the grenade ability can wipe out units

Don t worry. For Freedom long sword guys will basically be axe raiders with AOE melee knockdown and no range :))

Bottom line is just not worth it. The guns is their main strength. The grenades are just the cherry on top

@Gsjjs Ejdjd I think that the fact that you have two modes puts Shenjis ahead. Also Tercios, if I am not mistaken has a shorter range. If this is true, I would say Shenjis are my choice. But this is all subjective until you look at actual DMG output numbers and viability on maps.

fell in love with them in instantly. first siege battle using them, they killed 180 units

I still think the DPS is less (or at least the theoretical DPS) but yeah the grenades and accuracy sort of make up for it :D

They are really good a lobbing over walls. 12:44 - if you got them close enough to the wall, their arc would be much higher. Obviously the downside is you don’t get the benefit of the 10 buff, but it allows them to break through spots like those without exposing themselves

Just got my first legendary unit after 700 ingame hours. I went for the grenadiers and im 100 Prozent not disappointed. Maxed them out on day one.

Not one legendary after 700 hours? Wtf? The paths give you a free one and you get enough honour to get one early on anyway….

It's the parry. The reason they are not as tanky as tercios is because of the parry. I finally unlocked this unit and honestly this is in line with imperial arquebus damage which is very balanced

I find that a split leveling is best for me. Took on son's of fenrir and palace guard who charged me with just me and my musket. 1 bomb and I killed all of them and only lost 2 units

I love the shenjis. Such high damage and accuracy. I had a game last night where they killed 3 heroes and 161 units in a single match. Probably could of gotten more but I kind of left em and wanted another unit finally lol.

You should do a counter Meta series. I'm almost certain Axe raider going to get nerf, and next season going to comes out with some stupid broken units

Too bad they have been made irrelevant the moment they were unlocked with how imbalance Axe raider are at killing everything. Every time I bring any range units this days it is pointless since the enemy team always has 5 or 6 units of axe raiders out at any point of the match.

A good unit, but still needs backup .. stalwart does not exist, imperial shields are still waiting for some rebalance ..

Why do I feel like your opponents in your videos are low level players? In Asian servers range units dies in matter of seconds from all the axe raiders and hero rushes

These are all just on the random matchmaking queue on EU1 so no more high or low level then others. Of course axe raiders are still a massive problem, I mostly just try and avoid them, when you see those axes coming you know a charge is soon to follow so I often try and relocate soon as those axes come. And of course I also get caught by them a lot but not a lot of fun if the video is just 10 mins of being killed by axe raiders XD

Disslike every content of CQB becouse broken unbalanced game stage... yeah axe raiders spread message we will not play game and disslike every contect till community force them fix game !!!!
