This was a good plot twist at the end since throughout the entirety of the film constantine felt that he never had god on his side and then at the end it turns out all along that he was.

Fun fact, not many movies did post credit scenes. Not even marvel at the time. I love this scene. He's an Angel but is a fan of Constantine and tags along with him to help.

This movie was 1000x better than the "closer to the comics" TV version. Keanu Reeves may not be a blonde british dude like the "hellblazer" comics, but this film nailed everything else down super well and well known cast or not, everyone nailed their roles. Shame they had to go for a canceled tv show route than a film sequel, sure Keanu Reeves would've said yes. This film was amazingly well done.

This is one of my most favorite movies and comics and I’ve never seen this until today. I’ve watched this movie so many times it’s ridiculous. The soundtrack is pretty awesome too.

I've watched Constantine when I was 15 alone myself in the cinema hall; and right from there I became Keanu's fan. I never thought BOSS would've done such a brilliant and mind blowing role and the producer & director chose Keanu for the prefect John Constantine character. I feel Constantine was made only for Keanu Reeves. I've watched this movie more than 500 times that I actually byhearted the entire script. #Love you BOSS🙏🤗😘 P.S - Keanu's in talk's to make a sequel, that I heard of.

Such an underrated movie. It came to early . Bad comic book movies were still being made and somehow they grouped this one in with the rest. THIS MOVIE IS FANTASTIC. Also he’s one of my fav comic characters so I might be biased.

I think sometimes half breeds aren't aware that they are halfbreeds, especially when they are young in human age. His extensive knowledge and the way that midnight looked at him when he was making those bullets told me that he was a half breed angel

In reality, about this scene, the representation of Chas (who was actually 'Chamuel' the Archangel of Pure Unconditional Love) would be just wind since Angels are spiritual beings without a specific gender/physical form but they had to showcase him this way so everyone can comprehend. Same goes for the concept of wings attribuated to angels, it was just a metaphorical representaion of their ability to travel through different dimensions/realms including heaven, it's like a passport. But as usual, humans interpret everything literally word for word and here we are. Great movie btw.

After watching in the Theatre and owning a DVD, watching multiple times (and I love it), I never knew these after credits scene.... Lesson Learned, I will always wait for after credits moving forward, because lots of movies have like this nowadays.

In the commentary the director says "Chaz [became] a halfbreed angel." Though I like the idea that Chaz was a gaurdian angel the whole time, since Constantine has the gift of sight, he would have known if Chaz was an angel.

Humans do not become angels after death, they become saints. If Chaz is an angel then he always was an angel. If you watch closely you will see a slight "devilish" smirk on his face, perhaps he's Michael, at any rate, it would appear he pulled one over on Constantine and briefly allowed himself to enjoy the satisfaction of it.

Probably one of the best wing designs in movies. Usually they make them so lit and clean but the ones from constatine are a bit dirty and dusty giving them a more realistic look.
