Nice sign and appropriately placed! I remember when this stretch of road was done by the Chinese a few years ago how beautiful it look, just look at it now the metal fence that was placed facing the water has so many broken down pieces it is a disgrace for a capital city. This what visitors first see when coming into Jamaica! Concrete barriers should be put there instead of metal because bad driving Jamaicans will have a harder time damaging it.

It's good that you got the restricted airspace message. Sometimes they jam the signal mid flight and the drone immediately crashes.

Maybe the sign area could have been made smaller to expand the road around the the roundabout to two lanes in anticipation of future traffic growth?

I think the airport sign should state the parish of Kingston not in the city kingston because it not located in it, like Montego bay city is in St James Parish. I also think their should be no need for the air Jamaica sign because it no longer owned or in service.

Thanks. Parish signs usually say entering Kingston at the border. The city signs usually look like this one

U kinda have a point, the city limits along with the parish stops at Rockfort, then the parish starts again entering the palisadoes, witch does not includes the city. But the populous not really concerned about that, so it doesn't matter.

Should have metal bars to prevent persons speeding to catch flights crashing into the roundabout.

They have concrete columns

Tubular metal bar around the perimeter is stronger and more effective than vertical concrete columns. Problem is to protect the metal from the salt.

I love these new signs...n I think they should remain white, probably they gonna be putting in multi colored lights to glow the signs, so it's best to remain white.

Don't be surprised if the signs remain white.🤍 The airport itself is next in line for a major upgrade, including the runway that will be extended by 300 metres. Jamaica moving up in aviation and logistics.
