The doghouse is incredible. The birdhouse will indeed bring pleasure when the birds finally find it. Perhaps a bird feeder would help. Thank you for sharing this wonderful build. I look forward to your next adventure.

Given the amount of humidity on your windows, I would switch your windows over to shutters. This would allow both moisture release but full air flow inside. Lovely little home either way 🙂

Very interesting build. Would love to have seen inside when finished and to know where you are building these, country. We are in Western Australia where our trees are very different to what you are using. Awesome video thank you for sharing your talent.

I would assume spruce or some type of light straight grained conifer. I'm QLD no way we would split our trees like that. Gotta be Europe I assume, possible USA or canada.

Greetings, 30 plus years in building construction and cement work. Some things I would have done differently and some things that just amazed me! Either way great build and you made a beautiful area with a good feeling to it! A man and his dog aye?? There are a lot of these sort of videos. You never see people living in these shelters as they are cold, draughty, poorly located and lack basic amenities so it’s not clear what their purpose is. The appeal lies in two things. First it’s good to watch someone making something. Second it feeds into fantasy of escape to a simple life. My guess is the audience is overwhelmingly single men who live in urban areas in developed countries
