The Maschine Mikro works really well with a S-series keyboard as you don't double-up the display graphics. Just stick the Mikro on top of the S keyboard and you're away!

Thinking of going this way... Mikro + S-series keyboard. Seems I would be missing out on the ability to easily utilize samples within the KK environment. Does Maschine include a VST version, for use in a DAW, so I could still use vocal samples with Maschine?

@@djCatScanRL I didn't have to make any changes, it just worked. I think I have MIDI ALL selected, so whatever you play just works

I have the Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 and the maschinr mk3 does this two hardwares will automatically integrate with each other?

Currently using a Maschine MK2 and was going to get a Komplete Kontrol MK2 just for easy Logic Pro X integration. Does anyone know if they can be used together easily or do I need a Maschine MK3 with the Komplete Kontrol MK2, also with the MK3 and Komplete Kontrol MK2 combo can they be used at the same time to activate different instruments/tracks within maschine so two people could jam and create at the same time?

do we plug midi from kk into maschine? its the most I've ever spent on 2 pieces of equipment and im overly paranoid about doing something wrong.

I can't get sound from the keys on the keyboard my Mk3 and s49 are synced together but when I try to play sounds on my keyboard nothing I only get sound on my drum machine

I am using the A49.....How can I get it to control a whole kit in Maschine? It seems to only play 1 part of the kick in a different pitch!? ...PLEASE HELP!!!! Many thanks

Good video, Mate. Would you have any idea why my column of buttons with scene at the top doesn't work? Never did in fact. Other than that everything is good, apart from the fact that my daw connection has to be reset too often.

Hi Tony! I think they only work if Machine is connected. Otherwise they remain unlit and irrelevant but there are some Machine sounds on the Komplete bundle

@@citizenworld8094 Hey back! Yeah, I have since come to understand that. The keyboard comes to life when you open Maschine 2. Yet another idea for a video. Using Maschine with an S Series keyboard!

No, it connects through usb to your pc. Which u can use to controle maschine or other software.

The only way I have been able to use the MK3 and Komplete Kontrol mk2 at the same time is through a DAW using maschine as External plug-in and Komplete Kontrol to control Logic and switch between different instances of komplete where I have a Native Instrument sounds loaded on. Work flow is nice since I've made some templates in Logic, be nice to have that functionality in Maschine though for easier jamming to g et creative juices flowing.

@@Berzrk-Z Load Maschine as vst stereo 16 out into your daw, after you got your drums picked on your maschine go to the outputs on your maschine hit the pad you want to assign and choose one of the 16 channels as it for an output should be routed into your daw now.... then create another track(s) and choose komplete as a vst you should be able to navigate your daw now. keep drums on maschine and Komplete for your other instruments for melodys. I'd give you a template but I dont have the outputs routed since it resets if you change a kit I believe.

@@thew.o.k.e Ahhhh, ok gotcha, I'll absolutely give this a try. I've been trying to do this in the Maschine 2 software (use the MK3 for drums and KK for everything else) but cannot get the MK3 to utilize the drum pads as anything other than "keyboard". Thanks again for the advice and quick response!

i'm wondering why when i'm not at key mode all the keyboards just don't work, they don't give out sounds, but that one note works if on key mode, do you know how to fix that?

Because if you are not in keyboard mode, you are probably in pad mode. This mode is used to trigger all the sounds in the current group. If you only have one sound in the group, only one note can be triggered. If you want the other keys to work, you need to add different sounds to the group to those keys. But to use it as a keyboard (playing the same sound with different pitches), you need to be in the keyboard mode.

Perhaps if you're more specific about what you want to do. You can't "record chopped samples with midi" so I want to make sure I understand you.

I have maschine mk3 and i love it I just bought the komplete kontrol s61 mk2 and it connects it lights up it syncs with my maschine software when i load my projects yet for some reason when i try to play the keys no sound is produced. When i press play my project plays. The light guide works everything works except for when i try to play along. Anyone know why this is? Anytime I try to "play" the komplete kontrol no sound comes.

@@Berzrk-Z just connect it all to back of your USB pc or Mac make sure your output is the audio card software will take care of everything else

@@Wroe Thanks! One other question if you don’t mind; are you able to use both the MK3 and KK at the same time? Or at least use the MK3 for drums/beat and the KK for melodies and whatnot? I was able to get them both connected, but wasn’t able to use the MK3 independent of the KK (I’d select a drum program on the MK3 but it’d still only play the synth I had been playing on the KK). I hope that makes sense.

Well, do you agree guys that we can't use 16 knobs when we have the two devices ? And that it's a fuckin shame.... So that we can't lock independently a device to a plugin for example ? And that anyway using Maschine software with Komplete Kontrol hardware is so lagged it's unusable (while using this with the KK software is flawless) Another shame ! Tell me if I'm the only one ...
