10:13 how do you play exactly in time with your loop? just time built muscle memory and rhythym? before you barely lifted your finger off the last key before the loop restarted? just practice or? a more specified practice technique? i find myslef haveing to either switch to 3.9 to 4.1 to get what i played to loop properly from finsh through lopping cleaning to start?

Hi, please, could you demostrate how the two pieces of HW work toghether on the same laptop / same DAW (otherwise only running Maschine SW) ? For example: the two displays on Maschine MK3 showing the Mixer and the other two on the S Keyboard showing the effects....and so on. Thanks

Hi, is there a way you make your keyboard turn to Notes (or keys, or whatever the proper term is) of one sound without maschine? For instance, if I open up Komplete Kontrol in Logic using a S49 mk2 (without maschine), is there a way I could load a battery kit, and then hit the first piano key (lets say its a kick drum), and THEN SELECT ANOTHER BUTTON OR OPTION, which then turns the whole keybed into that note, which I can then play in different keys. Similar to how the keyboard works in Maschine? Hope this makes sense. Thank you.

If one had a machine + and a s49, with them connected, would only one unit (ie the plus) have full komplete 13 software package and the s49 wouldn’t need full komplete 13 software package? Ie can it share and uses it from the plus? Hope that make sense. I want to buy both but don’t want to my each machine with fully software package (hell expensive!)

Of course this setup can work with any DAW, but which DAW does it seem to integrate easiest with? I don't have anyone to help me troubleshoot when shit hits the fan so I'd rather just get it right the first time to prevent head banging on desk action.. would much rather produce new music as quick as possible without the urge of punching pug puppies in their snouts... Please let me know! :D #MISTA808

@@TheFossie12 I have S88 mk ll and awaiting Maschine Mk 3 for Indie Pop & Rock Projects...nothing at all to do with anything electronic...The Rickenbacker Bass alone blows any bass sound I’ve ever heard...( for my genres) and the sample libraries are bursting with Indie Rock Pop Drum packs, enough to do anyone for 10000 years 😜 I’m a guitar player mainly.

I'm sitting for hours trying to set up Maschine MK3 and KKKS61 in my DAW (Studio One) ... and it's just not possible. KKS61 works just fine, but when I load Maschine plugin in my DAW, transport controls stop working. Then they only work in Midi mode which is useless. Isn't there a tutorial "How to set up Maschine and Komplete Kontrol in a DAW" ? So many vids and nothing.

Phoenix Olivia it speeds up the work flow when you have the actual keyboard vs having to use the mk3 pads. If you play keyboard you should know this.

I have both. I found that the maschine is perfect for creating all of my drum patterns, provides easier access to my drum kits and expansions, and chopping/triggering all of my samples. And I use my komplete kontrol keyboard for playing all of my melodies and chords. So much fun using both of them, although each one of them can do all of those things on its own.

@Jaz Branning not at all. The komplete kontrol keyboard and the maschine complement each other for me. But, you can most definitely use any midi keyboard along with the mk3.

Can someone help me here please. I have a RD2000 piano and I would like to use that with the Komplete 12 software so would the Machine be enough of a controller to accompany my RD2000 or would I be better getting the keyboard? Really I would like to use my RD2000 as the main midi piano but be able to control the komplete software with the machine mk3. Would this work? Would there be any issues with doing this?

You can use any controller successfully with the komplete software through your computer. Unfortunately, maschine and komplete kontrol are not compatible, but the maschine software plugin works just as good ....or better within your daw.

D.A.k.now. how to load mk3 without machine software...but if you have kontact..like Alicia Keys piano...I purchased a machine.mk3 controller used..no software.. having problems with tech support..ni..support ticket.. However I have the ni kontrol...software.. installed.. Through native Access.

Am I correct in thinking a beginner could easily create 4 different sequenced instruments; i.e. Drums, Bass, Keys, Guitar into different song sections with such as; Intro, Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, Chorus, Bridge, Verse 3 Chorus, Outtro.- then record vocals over the top?

I don't know about easily, but it can be done creating multiple patterns within the scenes in the maschine software. It's almost similar to what you can do in Ableton Live.

Elvin Lewis Everything MK3 is a Refresh I own Maschine Studio as well and KK MK2 49 And Mpc Live by far Mk3 is Flagship .

kevin norton Yeah, I ordered it because of the preset functions and direct access to chords and such, which the keyboard does not have. I also have that beast of a machine, mpcx, and ableton push 2. Think I'm set on groove boxes and controllers,, but the N.I. stuff will completely open up all possibilities, and it was only a grand for both, not a bad deal at all. That being said, I'd almost bet money, a new "studio" is on the horizon to possibly compete with mpcx, or live.

In a word, yes. When you have Maschine2 running it recognises the keyboard too. I have both running simultaneously and switch between them a lot when composing. Works flawlessly.

IMO the biggest weakness on NI stuff is that they lock the audio drivers on a PC. That means you can't have a DAW as a side-chain. I wish NI would provide a driver that can allow your DAW and Maschine to co-exist and maybe link (or at least release the driver on a context change). Ie if you switch to the DAW the daw can control the audio drivers and visa versa.

Ever used mixcraft 9? Mixcraft doesn't hog audio drivers like fl studio for example. You can play KZfaq while using the DAW. I may be misunderstanding your problem but the maschine plugin works with the DAW without audio conflict

7 grand!? Did you go and buy all of the most expensive Kontakt libraries or a 24k gold piano? This is Guitar Center's (a music retailer) channel, FYI, not NI. They really aren't hard to get working to me but I've tinkered with midi since the 90s so idk if its that. Search around on YT, there's tons of videos.

@@Ryvox Oh yeah a lot of music software is picky. Sample libraries are usually a safe bet but even then some of the NI ones won't let you point to a directory any more and have to be reinstalled entirely.

Maschine Jam SLOWS and crackles after a few minutes. MAJOR CPU issues. No help from Native Instruments. I would avoid like the plague. It doesn't work like in this video. AVOID. Overpriced shit that doesn't work.
