Potentially the best part of all this would be the prosecutors trying to prove exactly how and where the crime occurred. Imagine being acquitted because a state prosecutor couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt where your little buddy was during the act.

Look it up in Northern Ireland. True court case. Rural stone bridge on the Ireland border, foggy night, young couple, "in two countries at once". Policeman doing rounds. Age of consent, Ireland 14, Great Britain 18. Verdict: Misdemeanor public indecency for what happened in the United Kingdom, but what would have been a felony happened in Ireland.

According to Wikipedia, the Four Corners Monument, outside of what we all know it as, also happens to be a border marker between two different Indian Reservations(Navajo and Ute Mountain Ute), making the whole area fall under federal jurisdiction no matter which side you're on.

As this discussion came to be centered around the Four Corners Monument, in addition to possible federal involvement, you may also have to question whether the Navaho Nation has jurisdiction.
