This is the kind of person who'll get the death penalty reinstated in Wisconsin. Personally, I am more of an eye-for-an-eye type. If one of the victims' family members wanted to execute him by running him over with a car, I'd vote for that.

He doesn't care. He is a product of his environment, an environment that supports and champions and defends his behavior. He has been told he is the victim and r**ing and robbing is the only way he can express himself, so he is released from prison. Why would he stop when he's the victim? He, like many, finally killed someone.

@@maxsmith8196 Might be a psychopath, but I don't think he fits the psychological criteria. He's just another career criminal who never faced proper consequences and kept committing more and more heinous crimes. See, psychopaths become more bold because they AREN'T caught. Mr. Brooks here was caught multiple times and didn't suffer consequences. Psychopaths feel nothing for their victims, they are objects. Brooks is showing emotion, he killed people because he hates white people, not because of some subconscious drive or desire or need. He killed because he could, on a whim. Like people getting shoved onto the subway tracks. He's just another criminal that's been allowed to commit crime.

might sound crazy, but by him rolling his eye's, and mocking the victims, practically proves it for me that Brooks only goal on that day was to kill white people. Having lost a child, I cannot say I’d have been able to contain myself as well as these parents. I lost my husband and father of that child in the same accident. But remarried. My husband and I have said several times during this trial that Waukesha collectively handled this better than perhaps our state/area would have. Let’s just say that here there would have been a propensity for “backwoods southern justice“. Brooks should be thankful that he committed his crimes there and that the police found him quickly and FIRST.

For myself, Justice would be that all the other charges he's facing are dropped or postponed so that he can be off to Big Boy Prison ASAP. There's were the Justice begins.

Except that being in jail is *MUCH WORSE* than being in prison? Honestly, his life would be literal hell if he were to serve his sentence in jail vs in prison.

This is not justice. This is retribution. Justice would mean that Darrel Brooks is an indentured servant to everyone he hurt until such a time exists when all the victims have at least been repaid for all the medical bills. Justice means restoring a victim to its status before being victimized. Now we obviously can't bring back the dead but we could at least force these people to help fund the life and education of any children who lost one or both parents and pay for any medical bills resulting from the victimization. We don't have a justice system in America. What we have is a system for righteous retribution. We should really be honest about that.

Judge Dorow allowed this criminal manipulator to control and debase her Courtroom and the rule of law. Countless times she demurred and cowered before Defendant Brooks. By participating with his unending circular arguments, she encouraged it. Judge Dorow should have stood up to Brooks Day one of the trial. Instead, she wrung her hands in fear of a mistrial and allowed the circus to continue. A Male Judge would have put a stop to Brook's disrespect and antics Day one! Folks who praise Dorow's patience and label her "A Saint" are as weak as her. It's the same permissive mentality that allowed Wisconsin to burn in the Summer of 2020.

We all needed this. Even hearing this i wanted one of them to see his eyes roll. Leap the pulpit and enact true justice. The smoldering rage i feel for this man and his ideology is unfathomable. I now look at many people with suspicion and reserve as a result of knowing who they are. What they believe. How it came to be. Watching his full indoctrinated bigotry and dehumanization of even children for their skin color. Watching the suffering of them and their families with a smile unbroken. Truly i long for the old days. I’d never have to watch this i can assure you.
