Mrs Mae Mae I Love your Channel . I was born and raised in the South , moved to the North after I finished School But I Will NEVER ,EVER forget where I came from . I was back Home Mothers Day it does not seem the same any more because My Mother passed 2018 but it is still home and my brother and sister in law and all other family members cooked all the good food ,Greens ,Hamhocks , smoked neck bones , field Peas , good fried Fish and so much more ,they Cook Just like You !!! Hey MaeMae! There's not much better then some homecooked greens!!! Some cornbread goes good with them! Love them. I grew up eating food like this. I like a pot of soup beans (Octobers or pintos) with greens! You and Tuck have a good weekend!

I grew up in southern Arkansas. I ate turnip and mustard greens growing up. Also it was a treat to have fried chicken and biscuits for breakfast. Thank you so much ma’am for sharing your knowledge.

These greens are beautiful. I also clean my greens with lots of baking soda and vinegar. It cleans them so much faster. And now I’ve learned to cook them in the pressure cooker so I don’t have to cook them all day. These tips just made it a lil bit easier for me. You did a wonderful job explaining. Thanku.

We cooked all our vegetable with pork in the country of Pamlico SC. my grandfather ate bacon or some kind of pork sausage every morning until his transition at age 98. no health problem. Love hearing you talk about how you grew up. I am in the sixty plus club... LOL have a bless week
