-SHOPPING LIST
4.3lbs of chicken (9 drumsticks)
Fresh Limes
white distilled vinegar
lemon/lime juice
salt
Matour’s Calypso sauce
Adobo
Seasoning salt
Tony creole seasoning
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Bell peppers
Onion
Tomato paste
Thyme
Parsley
Oil
-CLEANING CHICKEN
chicken drumsticks
2 limes
1 cup of White distilled vinegar
1/4 cup of lemon or lime juice
2 tablespoon of salt
SEASONING CHICKEN
1/4 cup of epis
1 tablespoon of Matour’s Calypso sauce (optional spicy 🌶)
1 cube chicken flavored boil (Maggie)
1 teaspoon of adobo
1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
1 teaspoon of Tony’s creole seasoning
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder
MAKING SAUCE AND COOKING CHICKEN
Parsley and thyme tied together
2 tablespoon of tomato paste
Instructions
STEP 1
Clean chicken as seen in the video. Sanitize meat with fresh lime, lime juice, white distilled vinegar, and salt. Let sit for 5 minutes boil hot water and pour over chicken.
STEP 2
Seasoning chicken with 1/4 cup of epis
1 tablespoon of calopso (optional spicy 🌶)
1 cube chicken flavored boil (Maggie)
1 teaspoon of adobo
1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
1 teaspoon of Tony’s creole seasoning
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
Put in refrigerator and let sit over night if possible
Step 3
Put chicken in a pot at medium high heat 6/7 add 2 cups of water let cook for 30 minutes mixing occasionally.
Step 4
Add chicken to air fryer, add a little bit of olive oil on chicken (whatever oil u have will do)
Cook at 350° for 15 minutes
Step 5
While chicken is in the air fryer work on sauce mixture. Remove parsley and thyme from chicken sauces add 2 tablespoon of tomato paste. Mix The tomato paste into the sauce until it has dissolve let cook for about 10 minutes at medium high heat 6/7.
Step 5
When chicken is done cooking in the air fryer add them to the sauce add cut up bell peppers and onions cook until desired texture of Bell peppers and onions.
