Butter naan recipe on tawa without oven and tandoor best ever naan recipe at home
ingredients for dough:
all purpose flour 4 cups (1 cup = 150g)
instant yeast 1 tbs
granulated sugar 1 tbs
salt 1 tsp
lukewarm milk 1/2 cup
lukewarm water as required to make dough
mix all the dry ingredients then add milk and give it a mix and gradually add water to make medium soft dough. knead until get smooth dough. (perfect dough will be sticky from inside but it will not be sticky from outside when you make a ball)
rest until dough double in size (about 1 - 2 hours, depends on the room temperature)
make small balls according to desired size and give them rest for 10 - 15 minutes. Roll a ball in any shape you want and apply some water, now place the water side down on the preheated skillet or flat pan (Skillet should be sticky, nonstick pan will not work) cook at low heat until bubbles appear on the top then flip the pan and cook over the fire to get color on the top, keep rotating pan to get even color on the top. Remove from the pan with tong and any flat spoon, apply some butter or oil, keep them cover in kitchen towel.
