വട്ടയപ്പം എന്ന കിണ്ണത്തപ്പം😀👌😄....(VATTAYAPPAM)

Vattayappam
Ingredients
1. Rice powder - 2 cups
2. Coarse rice flour - ¼ cup
3. Yeast - ½ tsp
4. Grated coconut - 2 cups
5. Sugar - 1 to 1 ½ cup
6. Cardamom powder- ½ tsp
7. Salt - to taste
8. Cumin seeds (opt) -
Preparation
Preparation
1.Mix the coarse flour with water & cook stirring well.
2. Allow the yeast to puff up in a cup of water mixed with a little sugar.
3.Prepare a dough with cooked , cooled starch, yeast solution & the rice powder . set aside to ferment for 8 to 10 hours.
4.Grind the coconut with cardamom powder, mix with the fermented mix, sugar & salt adding sufficient water carefully.
5.Steam till done, about 12 to 20 minutes depending on size. in a greased flat vessel. Cut & serve when cool.

ശരിയാണു ടീച്ചറെ എന്റെ അയൽക്കാരും കൊണ്ടു താരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു... എന്റെ അമ്മ ... അമ്മായിഅമ്മ.. എന്നു വിളിച്ചിട്ടില്ല അതുകൊണ്ടാ.... എന്റെ അമ്മ എനിക്കു ഒരുപാടു പ്രാവശ്യം ഉണ്ടാക്കി തന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് ... ഇതിന് ഇത്രേം സമയമെടുക്കുമെന്നും പ്രയാസമുണ്ടെന്നും എനിക്കിപ്പോഴാണ് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നത്... നന്ദി... എന്റെ അമ്മയ്ക്ക് ബിഗ് സലൂട്ട്...🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍

ഞങ്ങൾ തൃശൂരിൽ വട്ടേപ്പം - കള്ളപ്പം - എന്നാണ് പറയുക കള്ള് ചേർക്കുന്നതു കൊണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോൾ യീസ്റ്റാണ് ചേർക്കുക. കള്ള് കിട്ടാത്തതുകാരണം. കിണ്ണത്തപ്പം - അരിപ്പൊടിയിൽ നാളികേരം പിഴിഞ്ഞ് -പാൽ ചേർത്ത് ശർക്കരയോ പഞ്ചസാരയേ - മധുരത്തിന് - ചേർത്ത് നാളീകേരം കൊത്തി വറുത്തും നല്ല ജീരകവും ചേർത്ത് കലക്കി -Plate-ൽ എണ്ണയോ നെയ്യോ പുരട്ടി ഈ കൂട്ട് ആ പാത്രത്തിലേക്ക് ഒഴിച്ച് ആവിയിൽ വേവിച്ചെടുക്കണം

Kinnathil velichenna puratti mavu ozhich aavikayattum. Aa velichennayude smellum koodiyaya super. Sarkkaraya cherkkunnatha taste kooduthal kinnathappathinu.tasty aanu.Vatteppam same aanu. Yeastnu pakaram കള്ള് cherkkayal kallappam aayi.thenga just chathachido allenkil anganethanne ideyullu kallappathil.arachum cherkkannu thonnanu. Veetil arakkarilla kallappathinu.

My mommy used to make it with sharakara for 4 o clock coffee time. It was very tasty. Teacher we don't make it this way. Add the right amount of water from the start.
