Hey y’all! Today I’m sharing an easy recipe for a southern classic, chess pie! Enjoy 😉
Ingredients:
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 tbsp cornmeal
1 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp distilled white vinegar (can substitute lemon juice, if desired)
1/4 cup Evaporated milk
1 9inch pie crust
**Bake pie for 10 minutes at 425 degrees
Reduce heat down to 325, bake for 45 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.**
