I just wanted to clarify some things about the little snake. It is a harmless snake and Buster only played with it. It crawled away after a while and Buster, Dexter and the snake were all completely unharmed. I hope you enjoyed the video!

Busters primal side came out with the little snake. I absolutely adore Buster, he can be so comical one moment but always manages to be dignified at the same time. Dexter looks like a mini gray tiger. Both guys are so handsome.

Aww, glad to see Dexter enjoying himself in the forest, and the way he and Buster kept checking in with each other at the beginning. Although I had to laugh at the fact he didn't even seem to see the snake, let alone be interested, and the look he gave Buster at 8:02 - "Oi, that was my ear, Buster!" 😂

Dexter was much more confident than the last time I saw him out. Loved watching Buster hunt and "kill" the snake. I know he didn't really kill it. The snake was playing dead to get away from Buster. Loved how Dexter went to Buster for reassurance. Also noticed Buster coming to Dexter to reassure him. Buster is such a good cat. You had a bunch of brushing to do once they got home, didn't you? Dexter's tail alone seemed to be a magnet for brush. Then they both laid down. Oh, my. Great video. Loved seeing the boys out in the forest together. Buster was delighted that Dexter didn't want the treats. It meant he got 2. It's neat how you've taught Buster how to come when you call for him. Too cool. Thanks for sharing.

Dexter seemed a little nervous at first but his wingman helped. Slowworms fascinate cats, we've got them in our garden, which they love hunting unfortunately. That scene of Buster and Dexter at the end is beautiful. I'm very sad today as our neighbour's cat, Gusti, who used to regularly visit us, was knocked down and killed over the weekend. 😭😭😭 RIP, Gusti, we will miss you. ❤

It almost sounded like you pronounced his name "Dexten" at first (when he was still in his carrier)? Then it became "Dexter". My ears not awake yet. So good to see him out and about. He's perfectly camouflaged! Also walking very confidently (while Ada was still doing a bit of the "not sure about this" crouch walk)! Was that a snake or rather a "långsamma masken"? (I know them as Blindschleiche in German, which are actually leg-less lizards) EDIT: no, snakes are NOT "legless lizards", because I just *know* someone will say that.
