@@samanthaking435 What do you mean John Travolta never moved on after Welcome Back Kotter? He was one of the most successful actor in the 80’s, 90’s and in to the 2000’s. He doesn’t have to work as much. Or even if he doesn’t want to. He had a red hot career up until the mid 80’s. Then had about 5 years of flops or few offers. Then in 1995 (I think I have the correct year) Quinton Tarintino had the role Vincent in Pulp Fiction as a career reviver just for John because he loved him in Welcome Back Kotter. Then that kicked off the 3rd part of his career. He did great and was flying high in success. Then he made his career killer. The Scientology based movie where he played the overlord of Scientology Xenu. And he became a laughing stock AGAIN and now he can only get a music video or a commercial. He’s still a big name but he’s not a viable star anymore. Just a bit player or novelty.

Got death years as 1975, same year the show began. Heyges mispronounced. Good otherwise! Kaplan left in 4th & last season over contract disputes. Also, some conflict with his TV wife, which years later they resolved. They had wife Julie, recent mother of infant twins, play Woodman's secretary to have some school ties. The show probably would have lasted 2 more years without the walkoff. Reminds me of the crappy Season 8 of LaVerne & Shirley that fell to cast conflict with leads, and the loss of 2 other cast members.
