I saw Utely run down a loose ball in deep left field in a one-sided game. That hustle made quite an impression.

Somewhere in the Comments Section, There are Countless Triggered Mets Fans. As a Braves Fan, He Reminds a lot of Nick Markakis: Nothing Flashy about his Numbers, But he was CONSISTENT. He was Playing Everyday, Putting up Solid Numbers, and always kept things in order in a natural sense. IMO, He has a Good Resume to be in the HOF... But will it be enough?

With all respect to Nick Markakis, i dont think its a good comp. Chase was plagued with injuries, Nick had 1500 more at bats in his career. But when chase was on the field his value was apparent

Triggered Mets Fan here: Utley should be in, great gritty 2B, classic "Guy you HATE (if he isn't on your team)", total sparkplug for those damn 2000s Phillies teams

The position matters too. It's hard to think of a better second basemen in the 21st century.

Mauer made it over 2,000 hits, despite a similar injury drop off to Utley in the back half of his career. Todd Helton is the Colorado Rockies, still to this day. They’re unimpeachable. Frankly, it should serve as a lesson to you that Helton made it in on ballot #6. Your boy may be in for a similar wait, if not a much longer one.

Injuries are a part of the game, and utley didnt break any rules. He didnt intend to hurt him. To hold on to that for so long is tiresome

True, IT is completely legal, but it is the indiviudals choice to ram with such unsportsmanlike aggresion. And these people are disgusting. This aint football. @@T.Miller1234
