Copart BMW Update - Is It The Transfer Case?

On the whole, getting a car from Copart is a risk, especially as not everything has been described, or the fault is hidden. I do wonder if this was there because of the transfer case.

Turn off DTC and see how it drives. then turn it back on. Check tyre pressures and tyres are correct. check for any leaks in transfer case, seals leaking is common, it could be saved with a new seal and new oil. Either way change the oil its not too difficult to change seals and oil in these. Get the oil from BMW about £40 a litre think they only take about 700ml so a leak can cause a significant issue.

Would never buy a customer car from Copart, only insurance ones. Obviously private customer car has a serious issue and wants to get rid because dealer would spot it and a private sale buyer also would. Also, clean the blades with a cloth and white vinegar, should fix it.
