Waren is very nice. I did some parts of the Berlin to Copenhagen bike tour, most of the time in Brandenburg where there were really a lot of signs regarding the bike route. But as soon as I got to Mecklenburg, signs got rare and several times I was not sure, where to go.

Thank you for the video! I head to Amsterdam next week to kick off my first extended bike tour! Was planning to head up the Rhine-- or head due east to Berlin-- but maybe I'll head north first. Best of luck on the road! :)

Thanks for this and the other videos, all of which I've enjoyed. Hearing you talk about using Google Maps for cycle routing, I'd thought I might make a few suggestions. Apologies if you already know, and prefer Google Maps setup. There is a significantly superior mapping source available for cycling, especially for Europe. The source is a wiki map protect called OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap was set up to provide a copyright free map created by users, which you could edit on its website, and download to create your own maps and apps. It was enthusiastically adopted by cyclists in Europe where internet based cycle maps were missing. OpenStreetMap does have a few example maps on their website and I've linked to the OpenCycleMap below (hope the link works) www.openstreetmap.org/#map=11/53.5428/12.4722&layers=C Since the map is opensource, several apps have been created for navigation and they're mostly miles better than Google Maps. My personal favourite is OsmAnd (but I don't think it works as well on Ios) but for touring the favourite is now Komoot. Komoot is becoming more of a touring community app. For all apps you can download the maps for offline use. OsmAnd allow you to also use some online maps. Downside to both, compared to Google Maps, is that you pay for them to provide you with their versions of OSM maps. They'll regularly update the maps. But well worth it as part of touring costs, I believe both are free to try.. Where they don't beat Google is for business locations, eg finding a supermarket or campsite

How did you find ride the tandem for touring ? Especially to fly out from your country.

The tandem is great. We get to have conversations together and keep pace with each other. There is less wind resistance. And we encourage each other when the going gets touch.
