Core Strength Routine For Cyclists | Back And Knee Pain Relief For Cyclists
So many of the core strength programs that I see for cyclists have dangerous or at the least, ill-advised exercises that might actually compromise the spine. This evidence-based plan is easy to do without any equipment, will help take stress (and PAIN!) off the back and knees and is safe!

I use resistance bands as well I do mcgill big 3 I suffered ITB sybdrome for years thanks to youtube I found the exercises for glutmed to prevent it from happening again other exercises i do are single leg rdl bulgarian squats lunges touch down squat reference: squat university

Great video thanks. Just wondering should I be doing S&C also or just focus on cycling? Age 57.

Hello Michael. When I am over 40 I will be focusing a lot more on SandC then just cycling for better aging. I hope that answers your question :)

I have problems with my shoulders (bursitis) such that I can’t do the side planks, which causes pain. Is there an alternative to this exercise that I can do that won’t irritate my shoulders ? Thank you

I would recommend a monster walk instead or a plank on your hand instead

i want to strengthen my core so i can ride low stack bikes, i got long legs and feels stuck with limited options

You would be also well served on improving your spine mobility and posterior chain mobility (glutes, hamstrings, calves) - should put my get aero video
