I’ve been a Slipknot fan since Iowa when I was 12. And I bought the Stone Sour album the day it came out just because it was CMFT and Jim Root. I’ve listened to CMFTs solo stuff since his Christmas song came out. There have been Slipknot songs and albums I didn’t particularly care for. Same goes for Stone Sour. And his solo stuff. But I have followed Corey Taylor through the years and his sheer persistence and dedication to making music of all types is what keeps me coming back. Personally, I think this song is kick ass. And CMFT Must Be Stopped isn’t my favorite but I still like the change and the collaboration. I’m a few years younger than Corey Taylor but as someone who has kids, battled addiction, matured and aged just like he did, I can understand his tendency to play less in your face stuff as the standard. But I also love that the old hatred and anger makes its way out now and again too. I’ll be a CMFT, Slipknot, and Stone Sour fan til I die. Doesn’t mean I like it all. But I can appreciate it all

Corey Taylor, hands down my favourite vocalist of all time. There are some amazing artists in our world which we should be more than grateful for but there is just something about Corey and his ability to be so versatile and sound incredible no matter what he does. Everything he sings feels like it comes from his heart and soul. Cannot speak more highly of him as an artist or human being. An absolute inspiration to a lot of lost souls and people in our world. I've never had the pleasure of seeing you live in an audience but I would tick off a life goal should you ever tour Australia again.

This is proper catchy. Subliminal verses was a huge album for me in my pre-teens, Slipknot a big part of that era for me. Great song this! I'm not a one genre bias guy never have been, been a drummer and guitarist for going on 20 years mainly hard Rock and classic metal stuff but it's my advice to any future musicians out there to expand your knowledge and taste of music as much as possible, enjoy it all, it's endless!

I told the barber to keep the back and top 3 times what does he do? I'm 18 years old and I grew up on Slipknot and Stone sour Corey man I love the music you're probably my biggest inspiration my mom absolutely loved your music from Slipknot to Stone sour when she passed away we played mostly Stone sour and then we played some songs from Slipknot too but man your voice gives me chills anytime I hear you sing it reminds me of the times that I spent with my mom and I appreciate you for doing that putting out music that has meaning to it

Oh, and yeah. People forget Josh Home, Mike Patton, Anthony Kiedis, Mick Harris(who was pioneer of grindcore but ended creating dubstep trip hop🤣).People always forget that musicians are not close-minded as their fans. I listen 350+ subgenres of music from classical and orchestral to hardcore metal/electronic and I haven't any problems with Taylor's music. Hell, even pop music is experimenting with genres in there(i don't mention mix of pop and metal) but ppl want to complain
