My wife is a complete popper, but I played her this song since we were dating, she couldn´t believe the lead singer of Slipknot could sing like this, she loves it, we played it at our wedding, she was playing it when she told me she´s pregnant, is now a part of some of the best moments of my life, moments I´ll forever cherish. Wish I would of had him back then .just needed something that was of interest to me . Left high School with a 6 grade reading level . Honestly, I feel you. For a while after suffering abuse from a teacher, I for a while taught myself to not feel any single emotions. I was screamed at because I was crying from having bad grades and thought I was gonna fail and start the whole year over again. I frickin LIVE YOU Cory !!!! I got your shirt this morning. Immediately put it on and my matching rey pants. It says, all you have is my heart. ♥️ three hours later I got the news that my best friend if 40 yrs had just passed away from a massive heart attack. She had been battling for a long time. Every thing. Her own worst enemy. Nothing me nor anyone could ever do changed her F”d up mind set. Even isolated herself from her children grandchildren husband gone. She couldn’t stop the madness in her head. No matter what they give her. Usually made her worse. But I have been listening all day for a song for this beautiful broken lady I called sister. She is the mother of my niece. Who’s 33. W 2 kids. Two other kids grown. Two other grandkids. Her baby boy who never left. She made sure of that. She was as amazing as she was FREAKING OUT THERE. Young mother. I wasn’t. Exactly same age one week apart. We lived together for over a decade. I adored her. But so pissed over the kids and the crazy shit. I said the worst things to her. 😢 I can’t even begin to explain how that feels. I’m a Spiritualist. Holy Hell I failed. But this song is the ONLY ONE That even comes close. She was born tired. She NEVER had another friend her whole life. While I had 15. I just can’t believe she isn’t here to torture ANYONE AEVER again. Not even herself. But thank you so much for your kind music. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I listen to Cory Taylor Concerts almost every day. I know every single word of every song. London is my favorite. Love you. Your the best. My family and myself struggled with alcohol as long as I can remember. I turned 40 in March and lost so much because of my addiction. Hearing these beautiful songs makes me appreciate what I have in this life and that’s my soon to be 10 year old daughter. Corey your music gives me hope for the change I need to make!!

Corey doesn’t get enough credit outside of metal/hard rock fans. Fans of every genre should appreciate him because the man has SKILLS! I’m 43 years-old and well past celeb crushes, but this man is my dream man, seriously. There is nothing he can’t do, and he has risen above numerous struggles. What else can you ask for? He’s an inspiration!

My first experience with Mr Taylor was at rock am ring in 2002 in Nuremberg with Slipknot and a massive 90000 people and a crazy mosh pit. I had no idea this guy was so talented!!!! So underrated as a singer and artist.

Zzyzx Rd. is one of my favorite songs of all time, but since I'm battling clinical depression, I can't listen to it on bad days. I still love it and it means very much to me.. Thank you for creating this song! You are wearing the same shirt as Tom MacDonald in Castles btw, which is kinda funny, since you're both 2 of my 3 favorite artists 😂 Greetings from Germany

Going through this as well and some songs are just too tough to listen to if you aren't in the right headspace, zzyzx rd is one of those songs for me too even though I absolutely love it as a song

This has been my anthem for the past few months, I've had to sacrifice the one thing I was living for to take care of my parents, now with the prospect of my dad coming back home knowing he can't or won't do anything to care for himself... while my siblings are beginning to see, they have no clue or think I'm joking when I say if it goes back to how it was before my dad went to physical therapy and it is constantly having to care for him,I won't see the yearsend.

Cory...bro.... It's so amazing how you can go from your voice from slip with the yell to this. My wife and I who have four kids together been with each other for 21 yrs. I love how the titles are arranged. Zzyzx Rd. is about being on the road & missing home. And then he starts of with Home, turning the clever arrangement of titles into one cohesive beautiful story. What an absolute musical genius Corey is. He may not scream as powerful anymore after 20 + years of constant growling. But at least he seems to get better with his clean vocals after each year. What a soulful singer Corey is. Chapeau !
