Eva's Character changed so much from bratty and spiteful toward Leanne and anyone who came near Stella to start with, now she's really supportive and kind especially to her sister. Once Eva has Suzie and Toyah is back it's a full circle ⭕ moment.

Simon really does love his mother but he also loves and adores his grandfather Ken too. That hug or cuddle with Ken is proof of how much he loves and adores his grandfather. Simon admits he doesn't mean to do it. He gets so angry sometimes but Leanne ain't the problem. Simon needs help. Professional anger management help. And Ken will promise his grandson he will be there for him and love him and support him through this. Despite the fact that his father Peter ain't around which triggers some of the anger too.

The character of Simon was born of two caucasian parents, Peter and Lucy, Lucy dies of cancer. Peter and mostly Leanne raise him. In real life Alex Bain who portrays Simon, has a caucasian mother and a father who appears to be of east Indian descent, you can easily google this for confirmation.

Amy is a chip of the old block and has the spirit of Blanche in her too. Poor Leanne but I feel bad for Simon. Peter is a useless selfish excuse for a Father. Zee is right though he's lost both his Parents. Leanne is trying her best. Liz and Leanne have a good bond atleast and Liz doesn't like many of the young women that have been in the pub or Steve's life briefly.

Enough is enough Leanne. It's time you told Ken exactly everything Simon has done. Throwing things at you, slapping you, pushing you, drinking, wagging school and you having to cover his sorry sob stories plus having to lie to cover up what he's done and worse was Peter abandoning him for that new slutty whore girlfriend Peter's got called Sharon. But that's not triggered it. His grandmother Deirdre's death for starters and then his father Peter's abandonment and then out blaming his mother Leanne for his violent angry behaviour towards his mum Leanne. So yeah Leanne now you have told your sister Eva everything. It's time Ken knows everything so he can help support you and Simon. Enough is enough. Ken loves Simon and Simon loves and adores his grandfather. And Ken also needs to know why Simon came home early from his time away with his dad and tell Ken about Peter's new girlfriend Sharon and Sharon love for drinking something Peter suffers from being an alcoholic and recovering alcoholic etc.

I never thought I'd hate a kid so much. He was so annoying, frustrating, and I hated looking at his face and his facial expressions. And the way he spoke. I think it's safe to say I hated everything about him and its not because the actor plays the character well. I'd probably find the actor just as annoying as the character!!

When I was Simon's age, if I was caught missing school for no legitimate reason such as an illness, music festival, severe weather conditions, or school sanctioned sporting event/extra curricular activity, the school would call my parents or possibly the Police, face truancy charges, and be sent to a youth jail. In fact, back in the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, if you were caught skipping school for no reason in my home Canadian province, Nova Scotia, a child would either face suspension or expulsion from school, or even sent to youth jail in Shelburne, Waterville, or Truro. These days, due to Canada's "Youth Criminal Justice Act", most kids committing criminal offences would be forced to serve Deferred Custody or Supervision Order with jail time if a youth doesn't meet the conditions. I think that Leanne should send Simon to jail for truancy. It sounds weird, but that's what happens in Canada.

Funnily enough Maddie was never mentioned during this storyline. However, Leanne was seeing Kal Nazir, the other fatality, at the time of the fire and Simon had grown close to him. That was the trigger point, and then Deirdre died not long after, which made things worse.

Tbh it was a long time coming Peter was an alcoholic who kept pawning Simon off not to mention how many times Peter put Si's life in danger Peter and Leanne put him thru hell when they split up and kept moving him all over the place Then Peter took off, Deidre died, found out Leanne was a former prostitute And all that from age 6-11
