Corrupted Galaxy’s Edge Holocron

Sometimes the Jedi Holocrons from Galaxy's Edge get possessed by the Dark Side; it happened to mine. In this video I show you what this error looks like, how it occurs accidentally, how to make it occur on purpose, and how to fix it.

Thank you so much! I couldn’t figure out what was going on with mine and now it’s working correctly again! I personally cut a little piece of paper and folded it about 3 times and inserted it in lol

OMG DUDE! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I just got this in and also corrupted! This is an Xmas gift for my Star Wars crazy wife! I was flipping out as she’s ALL ABOUT the Jedi! You saved my life big time! I’ll be saving that plastic piece for future also!

Thanks for the tip, the only difficulty I came upon was finding something thin enough to insert into that slit. I'd recommend anyone who purchased one keep the plastic insert if it's included.

Thank you so much , this really helped , if anyone can’t find paper that is sturdy enough, the twist tie from a bag of bread worked perfectly, I highly recommend that !

The battery clip trick worked for one that was flat dead and wouldn't even charge.

What type of cardstock did you use? I've tried, but I can't get it to go in far enough to disconnect the battery.. The cardstock keeps bending.

If the card stock is giving you issues, try a twist tie.

Not that I know of. I think this only works the other way. Though in theory all the data is on there, so it could probobly be hacked, but the process would no doubt take a lot more know how.

Fascinating. Do you know of anyone who's made a holocron that isn't plastic? Maybe transferring the electronics into something grander? Lovely case of possession, by the way.

The setup in these is very complex, I am sure it could be transferred, but I don’t know of anyone who has done it.
