The model I got is slightly different (doesn't have the side buttons) but your video did help out as I got this refurbished on Amazon. helped me find that charging point I needed.

Great mouse for gaming. But I ran into some problems: - the software doesn't always detect the mouse - sometimes the lights are not working - after about 8 months my scroll wheel started to go very heavy and snapped when I used it, now I can't scroll anymore.

Logitech G703 + PowerPlay seems to address most of the issues, but takes away the Qi charging for wireless charging phones. May give that a shot and do a comparison video?

How would you compare this mouse to the Zowie EC2-B mouse? I'm interested in buying a wireless mouse but my Zowie EC2-B is near to perfection what I need but the cable sometimes gets in the way or gets stuck on something or whatever.

Just FYI the wireless problems still are not fixed, I was using a razer mamba and had no issues, Wanted to try the dark core because of the wireless option and the thumb rest. Even after updating the firmware, btw that was hell, and searching many forums still had issues. Overwatch for example I would be aiming or moving around and then all of a sudden my toon would do a 180 or snap away. Will be returning and sticking with my wired mamba.

Does the mouse recharge correctly with be quite pure base pro 900 case? I'm looking into buying that case anyways but honestly paying 170$ for mouse and it's pad, well you probably be better of buying a 160$ mouse with crushing specs and still wireless with huge battery and then 10$ mousepad. At least that's how I see it

It'd be nice if the MM1000 had RGB but not everyone wants them or for a mouse pad to be gamer-y. So I get the choice, now we just need a 2nd gen Polaris with the Qi charging. In the meantime I'll probably use a decent flat Qi charger on my desk.

I own the Dark Core Pro - battery is ridiculous (it goes days without needing to be charged) it's lag-free as far as I can notice. My GF has the g502 as she plays WOW/FFXIV and I've owned the 502 for years myself before switching because I wanted everything Corsair (RAM - Vengeance RGB, h115i cooler, Dark Core mouse, Strafe Mk.2 keyboard and PSU) I would buy a Corsair GPU and mobo if I could. In conclusion, the Dark Core is easily the choice for me as I play all sorts of games. The cable isnt an issue (I have the Dark Core PRO not the SE) and the cable should be run from your PC and plugged as needed for charging and the dongle in the USB plug NEXT to the mouse on your Corsair Strafe or the front USB 3 port on your PC. Highly recommended

Every button is remappable. I don't need a profile switch button, so i remapped it to DPI toggle, and remapped the DPI up, and DPI down buttons to the semicolon key, and apostrophe key , respectively.

I am thinking that wireless mice is underrated, people seem to have the misconception about input lag, but after only using corded mouse such ass Deathadder, the cable sometimes disturbs movement while aiming, I am actually willing to give this one a try, Because I strongly believe that free movement on a pad is better.

So I just got the mouse, can someone help me out with set up? I can’t seem to get the DPI to save, the RGB is extremely touchy, I haven’t quite figured it out yet. I’ve only had it for about 3 hours lol. I also have the k95 platinum, I’ve never had issues with the RGB lighting before but now that I have 2 Corsair products, the software doesn’t seem to work properly.

@Osiris Rewoke If you want wireless charging, just get a typically pad from Amazon or something. It is Qi, like most phones, so you don't have to get Corsair's main one. You can eaeasily get one from online for 10 - 15 pounds.

The corsair mouse use the Qi standard for its wireless charging. So if you have a Qi standard charger then yes it will work with it

got this mouse yesterday. today I returned it... the left side buttons are terrible and the way the right side has been designed wont give me enough room for my fingers so it annoys my right click alot.. idk thats weird this is the first mouse I've had with this problem. also I've had problems where anytime I would turn it back on or plug/unplug it my dpi would mess up and I must play with iCue's dpi sliders. I guess its worth paying a bit extra $ for logitech

Hi Have heard several times that the mouse wheel from the Dark core rgb is very weird to turn. (it should not lock properly, spongy etc.) Can you confirm it? And did you compare the mouse wheel with another mouse?

Not sure about remapping the sniper button. I looked around the iCUE software and didn't see a place I could change the button mapping. You can charge the mouse on other Qi chargers, though. I also have the mouse pad in this video and it charges my phone. ;)
