Having your ruler be in the military as a way to make them have good traits like maybe being in a famous battle makes sense, because you are always risking their death if you say give your heir command of the army or even the king

I would like achievements giving you cosmetics I would also like for example, a standard World Conquest hat, and you unlock it in the country colour for each country you start the game as and conquer the world

EU4 is such a solid game, I’d say it’s nearly perfect in terms of what it’s trying to do. The aesthetic is perfect, the map looks great, totally iconic. I can’t see someone making a follow up to that that doesn’t change core mechanics enough to make it a completely different type of game. Even then, it’s going to be impossible to fit even a fraction of the content from the dozens and dozens of DLCs. I imagine the game feeling extremely empty on release like their other recent releases. Have to wait 3 years to be playable. Not looking good.

Imagine compatibility with CK3 ports, imagine being able to see your dynasty develop over time throughout Eu4, and then Vic3
