This is really a good deal. I was looking for an apartment through the agent and it was very tiring process. We traveled around with moped and they first showed old apartments, hoping to rent out those. Crazy process, but I could look into many Vietnamese apartments. Cultural experience one can't get.

Hi both, I just chanced upon you postings today and had started watching them.. the big green triangle piece of cactus like thing with thorns at both sides are called Aloe Vera .. we in south east Asia have many uses including cooking them in desserts.. one of your followers had mentioned that he tried it but found it bitter .. it is because after removing the skin, you need to blanch it in hot boiling water for 2-3 minutes before mixing into your desserts.. it has a slight chlorophyll scent but otherwise tasteless and the texture is like a gummy.. good for our stomach & intestine.. keep up with the great work and I look forward to your visit to my homeland, Malaysia.. Since you both enjoy asian food, I assure you that Malaysia has the widest range of foods to offer .. and almost everyone can speak English here ..

You posted a question about the Aloe leaf, asking how it is used. Don’t eat the green portion…it will give you diarrhea. But the inside part is great for your digestion and health of your stomach and intestines. Maybe eat 1/4 or 1/2 cup per day. Great in a smoothie. It’s weird to eat in chunks.

Aber die Temperatur ist nicht zu heiß über 30 Grad. Ich wünsche euch beiden eine schöne Zeit in Danang. Grüße aus Muine, Vietnam . Wow! That’s nice for $300+/mo. The rent & prices have been inflated in Vietnam due to foreign investment. Still better than EU or North America. U pay double at least for low quality dwelling places here in North America in horrible & ghetto neighborhoods, not near the beach like that. In Vietnam the fresh food at the markets are good quality. You can get fresh meat, seafood and produce at local markets, not processed food here in N. America or EU. Make sure you go to the local markets open in the morning, not the “Sieu Thi”.

I am little bit stressed, as I am planning to travel for 2 years, and my budget ia around 800-900 usd per month, if I can survive.. based on other videos... but it seems like, travel bloggers are just spending alot of money on fancy stuff

Average was 1200 usd per person per month.. which is ridiculous ==> yes, it is ridiculous as the monthly salary of worker is only around $300 ... The cost of living in vn is quite high compared with Thailand. In this video, only listing the rental studio & utility, rental bike, gas and food. The cost of visa and health care are not in this figure $1100-1200/month yet

@@OlgaProGoingPlaces I mean.. I live in one of the most expensive country in the world ( Iceland) and I am renting 2 rooms apartment in the main street of Reykjavik.. and I do not spend more than 1200 usd / month... including rent, food, internet, transportation etc... ( average salary in Iceland is around 4000 usd/ month).. so how cab you spend 1200 usd in a country, where average salary is 200-300 usd?
@hp4415
@hp4415 Жыл бұрын
@@sometimesthereisnocoloraro108 it’s all depends on how you want to spend your money, with $1200 a month, you can live like a king there ( well kind of). But you can live comfortingly wirh $800 a month. For the average local, they can survive with just $200 to &300 a months. The average salary is $300 but people who living in the city earn more. If you are in rural area, you can survive with just $50 to $100 a month for local people. Just fyi.

I see you're trying to repeat Antalya in Vietnam from the choice of apartment nearby to the beach and window view, although the Antalya apartment is bigger and nicer. I am curious why you don't go to Croatia (near to Turkey)? Do they check whether you have driving license for the motorbike?// To be honest, the Vietnamese food looks awful, not just in your video, but in other videos I have seen.//Aloe Vera leaf (the huge leaf in the supermarket that you were holding): Skin it with a peeler or slice off skin with a knife, then cut up the slimy flesh and soak in honey. I tried it once but it tasted bitter (didn't work for me). The slimy flesh (gel?) after cutting can also be used for healing and facial (?). // Buy the Korean instant noodles/Ramen. Kimchi or Seafood flavors. Samyang brand is good. ///Seeing your supermarket bill: Wow, so expensive for so few items! In Istanbul supermarkets, it is quite difficult to go above $15 USD.
