I see a mixed reaction to Bobby’s videos. I don’t follow him hardcore but he has definitely made it easier for me to make healthier choices. I may not always buy avocado oil or foods that are strictly Bobby approved. But, he has helped me weed out more processed foods and make healthier choices and to think more about the ingredients. Less natural flavors and food colorings, less laundry list of ingredients, etc. making healthier choices for yourself doesn’t necessarily mean to buy the healthiest and most expensive thing out there. Sometimes you gotta make baby steps and start with evaluating and changing your current diet. Start with your snacks. Then move to your meals. Etc. and most importantly, be active and workout. Most people think just simply eating healthy will keep them healthy.

@@colmdoherty767 it’s like you commented without even fully reading my comment. I don’t follow him. I’ve seen his videos and before when my diet consisted of pop tarts, Oreos, eating out all the time, etc. now consists of as he calls it “not Bobby approved, but a better for you option” . My point is that I read the ingredients on all the foods and snacks I buy now whereas I used to not. I’ve looked up a lot of his claims and it has helped me mold a better idea of a healthier alternative than what I used to eat. Do I eat everything he recommends? No. Do I follow his recipes or buy his products? No. Do I use his probiotic he recommends? No. Do I take collagen? No. Jesus. Cmon dude.

@@colmdoherty767 I’ve seen you on about 8 other peoples comments just lookin like a damn hater. Quit dick riding and just block Bobby and stop wasting your time. You think all doctors and nutritionists agree with every single thing? That some may have differing opinions about certain things? Just like how some doctors can be anti vax and some are pro vax? The overarching theme is that he gets people to be more mindful of the foods they eat. Do they have to follow it to a tee? Now that’s their choice. Why don’t YOU start churning out some videos for all of us to watch instead since you seem to know it all? People like you are insane imo. 🥩 rider.

Can you show me doctors that say not to get natural flavors? I mean real doctors not chiropractors, not holistic doctors. People with real MDs. It is like GMOs. There is 0 science that says they are bad. In fact there is a lot of science that say they aren't bad.
@95AP

@@scmsean yes actually. My very own doctor lol. Had a conversation about it before one of my Muay Thai tournaments in Arizona when discussing weight cutting. How it’s better to look at ingredients that are flavored by actual sources like cinnamon, dates, vanilla extract, and actual pumpkin and spices in “pumpkin spice” flavored foods/treats. How natural flavors typically contain many other things such as essences, oils, combined w other flavors like jasmine, vanilla, raspberry etc to achieve a certain flavor profile and that’s just so it can have a longer shelf life. However, he did point out that it’s not necessarily bad and may not even be the main culprit. He emphasized just steering away from processed foods in general can help with dieting. This was in regards to basically not having such a long laundry list of ingredients in the foods I purchase. After cutting out processed foods and my diet consisting more of red meat, fish, eggs, dairy, whole fruit, and dark leafy greens and also cooking most of my meals has helped a ton. I feel fuller and cut weight more safely. My idea of dieting and nutrition doesn’t consist of just Bobby videos. I also work with a strength and conditioning coach and nutritionist at my gym. Each have their own approach and opinion to dieting and even the use of supplements. However, they all seemed to agree to stay away from the more processed foods. Since doing that, I’ve had more energy, felt more full, and better prepared for my 3-5 hour practices. Just my own experience.

Hey Bobby, I've followed and watched you for many years. I love what you do and bring to the table. I have the app on my phone and frequently use it to scan items to see if it's Bobby approved or not. All that being said, I'll choose Bobby approved if I can and improve the quality of my eating. But frankly you are an outlier, most people cannot, will not or do not live as you do. Watching this video, I want you to know I completely and absolutely appreciate you pointing out things like Poppi and Simple Mills almond crackers as good alternatives though not perfect and not Bobby approved. Please keep this up and consider the "harm reduction" aspect of eating better. Not everything is perfect, but many things are better than others! Keep up the good work, thank you for all you do! @@andrewdishman26 Sardines only live for five to ten years. They can only accumulate so much heavy metals during that time. While tuna lives over 100 years (if not more), which means much higher concentration of heavy metals. Also, the region where the fish comes from matters. Small fish cannot travel across the globe like tuna, thus it is less toxic.

@@andrewdishman26 One of the safest choices besides these sardines is fresh wild caught salmon with the skin. Preferably from Alaska (or someplace else with cleaner water). But make sure the ingredients say salmon, and not “color added thru feed”, or something else random. You can put some lemon slices on the skin and barbecue the fish. You can always boil the fish in water, but it doesn’t come out super tasty, only extra healthy.

@@Pittsburgh-gal. so it's basically added to cut corners. Gotcha. No thanks. I'll stick with butter that doesn't require natural flavors. I agree with Bobby in this case. It's an unnecessary additive. Period. I just checked my butter and no natural flavors. That's the way it should be. You eat foods with additives. I'll stick with brands that don't cut corners. Besides no one who uses butter thinks it's a health food anyway . So, there's that. Bobby is right in this case. Sorry, you lose.

Conveniently dont show the people that the optimum nutrition protein powder and the orgain clean protein shakes are all on sale for WAY cheaper than your products.

I’ve noticed nearly all traditional UNSALTED butters have natural flavors in them. Kirkland included. I bet they went to unsalted butter in the recipe.

Love your videos. Your app say that the pomegranate juice is approved, your Costco deals part two you say it’s not. I’m assuming that it is not because of all the sugar. You might want to fix it on your app. Thanks….

I like Bobby too, but there are others who say, stay away from packages, boxes and bar codes, eat only fresh meat, vegetables and occasionally fruit. This is why the American public is so confused and give up.

For the sardines, I normally just take out the sardines whole rather than mashing them in the oil, so I never consume all the olive oil….. am I losing out and not getting the full 1700 omega 3’s?

Im so jealous! Every time i go to our costco, there is no good granola. I have been paying up for the Purely Elizabeth in Kroger. A few weeks ago, i went to Target for the PE granola because it was on sale. When i got home, I realized that i got charged full price. 😢

Anything with erithrytol or other alcohol sugars should be rated better for you but not Bobby-approved. Yes, not everyone has problems with alcohol sugars like I do, but there are too many better sweeteners out there niw.
