Pork & Cabbage Recipe:
1 medium head green cabbage
28 ounce can whole peeled san marzano tomatoes
1/2 cup total of chopped parsley & dill
1/4 cup ghee or butter
Salt & pepper
2 pounds pork shoulderAvocado oil
Cut the pork into 1.5 inch cubes and season with 1.5 teaspoons salt, few cracks pepper, and mix well. Preheat a large cast iron pan over medium-high heat with 2 tablespoons of avocado oil until very hot. Working in two batches, sear the pork until deep brown on both sides. remove from pan and set aside.
Slice the cabbage fine and place in a large bowl. Transfer a large handful of the sliced cabbage to a dutch oven or wide soup pot. Add 1/4 of the tomatoes and crush them up with your hands while squeezing the cabbage. The goal is to bruise the cabbage as much as possible so the natural water exudes and to mash up the tomatoes. Repeat until all the cabbage and tomatoes are in the dutch oven, add the browned pork, 2 teaspoons of salt, and mix well.
Bring to a boil on the cooktop, reduce to a simmer and close the pot lid. Cook for 45 minutes then remove the lid and cook until almost all of the liquid is gone. Fold in the chopped parsley and dill.
Preheat oven to 425F. Transfer the cabbage to a 9x12 baking dish. Add the ghee to a small pan and heat over medium-high until it's very hot. The ghee should start to shimmer. Carefully pour the ghee all over the top of the cabbage and mix well. Bake for 30 minutes, turn heat down to 350F, and bake another 30 minutes, or until the edges are browned and crispy.
Allow to rest for 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Optimum nutrition has protein powders that are $80+ and they're GMO, etc. Quality costs cash. The way its always been and the way it'll always be. People complain about prices on stuff like this then spend $40 getting mcdonalds delivered from doordash, spend $40 a week on starbucks, etc. It's pretty easy to save $60 and buy some quality whey, everyone is capable. Now If Bobbys whey was full of GMO and garbage ingredients I'd get it but it's not. $60 may seem steep but look at the ingredients. now find a whey with similar ingredients and compare prices. Good luck.

@@skibunny2257 You don’t have to justify how you choose to spend the money you earned. Just because Bobby has a lot of zealots out there that feel it’s their duty to preach to the masses and tell people how they should be spending their money and how they should be eating don’t even deserve a response from you. Nobody has a right to tell anybody how To live their lives because they haven’t walked in their shoes and don’t know their individual circumstances. The amount of privilege and snobbery from people who follow this page astounds me each day. They always say things like well you’ll pay for it later on buying the cheap stuff, some people can only afford the cheap stuff. It’s a struggle to even afford the cheap stuff. Coconut oil is higher in saturated fat than butter but it contains a specific kind of saturated fat called lauric acid which raises HDL aka good cholesterol levels.

@@kymrichardson884 it doesn't bother me, it's really nice to have a resource for "healthy food". We have to discern ourselves. My physician didn't tell me that his textbooks are paid for by pharmaceutical companies & maybe that's why he prescribed the wrong BP med & I tried a low salt diet & weaned off the medicine. All the videos that "workout people" do, don't make a list of the companies they invest in.

Do NEVER eat any acidic foods like tomatoes, tomato paste, and others from aluminum cans. Aluminum leaches into the food when exposed to acidic environments or heat. I would suggest doing a better research on what you recommend. I do like watching your videos but some of the things you recommend aren’t healthy at all.

She never used the word hate and is entitled to her opinion/experience as are each of you that commented. That said, “I” actually know people who spend $200.00 on their cell/ smart watch plan but would spend money on clean food & vitamins- it’s too expensive I’m told AND complains about all the meds they have to take. “I “ can vouch for any and all that eat out on a regular basis, even at nicer restaurants, much of it still processed AND all cook in seed oils, responsible for the large guts we see walking around. I’m just saying what I know for a fact AND it’s very sad as people don’t realize it.. Turn off the “programs” and catch up on a little reading and research on what’s important- Your Health. What’s coming in 2024 will make us ALL rethink how we allocate our dollars!!
