It’s like that with everything in life. People who haven’t accomplished anything, particularly those who never tried, tend to have the biggest ego to make up for their lack of achievement. If you’ve done the work and earned the results ego is irrelevant.

Mitch is a super nice guy, but those are all peak attempts by Tom on different days at different times. He could definitely compete but the chances that he'd walk in and win are very very low.

if he trained for it specifically with the same coaches as mitch, he could win. especially if he had done it when he was younger. He's never going to compete, so it's all hypothetical anyway. He is among the strongest humans in the world.

This is high level strenght on a display, but to me that Magnus with Eddie Hall was just mindbogling 🤯 Magnus, 70kg small dude lifted outrageous amounts with Eddie.. 😳 IMO he has pound for pound one of the craziest strenght there is..

When I was young, watching in the 80's and even some of the 90's. It was more fitness than it is now. I think it's recently had an American influence for financial reasons. And their guys seem to like powerlifting events? These days it's things like deadlift for max weight or reps? Back then more of the events were like carry and drag.

I have squatted, at my gym, 380kg(837.757lb)for 8 reps, no spotter. It caused an uproar and clapping, etc. I had no idea all eyes were on me, I was in a trance like state. I was younger then and had the aggression necessary or whatever. Cool post ✌️🇬🇧

This guys doing it in his back yard and hes shredded. I imagine if he gained weight and got fat jacked and trained specifically for the events in a proper strong man gym he could do it. Hes essentially matching the champ strongman who weighs more and trains the best way for his sport.

How could you say that when Mitch trains specifically for his comps whereas Tom trains anything and everything all the time. Mitch is a specialist and Tom is a generalist but Tom's numbers are within spitting distance or actually over Mitch's
