A good friend, got married with a guy who had cheated on her ex, I remember she saying to me people change and every relationship is different. One year later she found out he was cheating on her with no just one, but 4 women at the same time, I thought finally she will wake up!!! 🙄 2 Months "after breaking up" she is back with him and is pregnant...🙄 And guess what? He still cheating... What a sad thing is not knowing your worth and value as a human being and as a woman. A disloyal person would always be tempted to be unfaithful because someone already forgave their lack of RESPECT. Is a fact! smh. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Loni is right: we all say what we're gonna do, and wouldn't do, and wouldn't put up with, but life happens, and relationships will challenge your deepest beliefs about yourself and others; you go in one way and come out of it another. Words are words until tested. But, I also agree with Adrienne, you gotta love yourself more. I learned that the hard way. A lot of us don't come from homes where we see two parents in healthy loving relationships, with healthy boundaries being enforced, and self-worth and self-respect being displayed independently; so, a lot of us go into relationships without having a positive relationship with ourselves holistically (meaning: emotionally, physically, spiritually, psychologically, and financially). Know thine self. If you don't have clear boundaries that you're willing to enforce then you don't have a relationship, you'll only have a "situation."

Loni....thank you for a realistic voice! It's refreshing to hear a perspective that's not coming from an idealistic place. I can sit here til the cows come home about what the 'right thing to do is' but many times until I'm put in that situation I don't know how I deal with it. It's annoying that they often times come from a perspective of women not knowing their worth as though we're human beings that either aren't aware of what we're doing, don't have a choice or are just human and in every situation we find ourseleves in base our decisions based on what we value most at the time. I'd love for there to be real conversation and differing views instead of everyone at the table agreeing or getting the side eye if the audience doesn't agree with the hosts.
