Very nice, the movements look smooth but committed and the single person actually did quite well facing both opponents

Well, he's also the best fencer of the three ;)

Multiply opponents is hard, but there is a way to make it easier. You need to be constantly moving around one opponent, keeping the one you are fighting in-between you and the 2nd attacker. So Jonathan would be fighting Marco while keeping Carlos behind Marco, if Carlos trying to join Marco on his left side, Jonathan moves to Maros Right side so Carlos is again behind Marco.

That would be an option, yes

Just like in Runescape. If you keep a mob between you and another mob, then the further one can't attack! Who said video games were uselessssss!

I would say this: the more you practice fighting multiple opponents, the better you become at fighting multiple opponents, especially if your skill level severely outmatches that of your opponents. But if you’re a master fighting three masters, yeah, you’re probably screwed. The assumption in the movies is that the protagonist taking on so many opponents is possible because his skill outmatches them all by that much. Although, Hollywood is terrible at conveying that in a believable way.

Interesting topic, i would like to suggest trying the method of giganti, di allessandro etc. Basically cross cutting long and strong in such a manner that one almost wounds their necks but more importantly hits their swords or sword hands or like colombani says with the blows of a desperate man. Should be done without pause. This not only parries but also offends as giganti says. The one defending should also try to be aggressive as possible while being somewhat calmer encircling them stepping with one blow forward with the next out measure etc.

Jonathan (the defending one) has studied and teaches some Giganti, he'll look into that

@@saamfvg Very cool, iirc it was in the second book of giganti. Would be interesting to see it in action.

I guess the only solution is to line them up, so that only one can engage at a time. Musashi wrote something like that in the book of the five rings.

Many are suggesting that, we'll try in a future video! (hopefully soon)

So 2 sword/ dagger is the best chance?
@saamfvg Жыл бұрын
Having two wepons is indeed advantageous. In a future video we'll have the opponents use two weapons as well!

Yes, for sure, for me, sword and dagger (or probably better 2 sword) is the best option! Maybe with a montante, but with that u can't controll both the opponent sword, so them attack u in the same moment from differnt angle Is impossible to survive.
