My action item is to start working out!! I have been on a Tirzepatide compound for 4 weeks and have been walking, but not regularly. I have a workout room that has been calling me and I must go! (I wrote it, so now I am going to have to be accountable) My husband is out of town this week and my kids are all grown up...I have no excuse. Thank you for all your work and kind words. 💇‍♀

​@mrstkyoung the compound has been working amazing for me. And I haven't experienced fatigue or any side effects since the 1st week. Of course it will vary from person to person but I love getting it sent to me directly straight from the compound pharmacy. They automatically send it every 28 days and it automatically comes out of my account when it ships. Not to mention the cost is a fraction of the price.

@@Jagthemenace.com12 I lost 9lbs in the first two weeks, then went on vacation. Didn’t gain any weight then, but would normally been out of control. Last week I was sick and lost another lb. So far a feel great and the compound also has b12 which is supposed to help with the tiredness that can happen. I do have to say I have had nausea and heartburn usually a few days after my shot, but I am finding if I eat small meals with protein during the day and stop eating by 7pm I’m good.

👩🏻‍🦰 I've lost 82 lbs since March 10, 2023 on compounded semaglutide and then MOUNJARO but recently I have plateaued and am starting to feel hungry. I have 15lbs to go and don't want to stop now! My goal today is to get enough protein as I've lost muscle. So glad I found this video and learned I'm not alone ! Been doing this by myself for the last 15 months.

I also feel appetite suppression around 12 hours after And I usually have only one meal a day. High protein, high-fiber diet. Tracking down everything, I’m on 2.5 and I don’t think that’s cutting it for me. I should’ve lost more than I’ve lost in this month 🤷🏻‍♀️ Taking my fourth shot in a little bit You are helping me so much!!!! bio care is a lifesaver for me. Thank you so very much Countess 😊 for all of your advice. I don’t know what I would do without it. Virtual telehealth appointment tomorrow .. I lost 130lbs with gastric sleeve and my bariatric doctor has started me on Zepbound for the next phase of my weightloss journey (I have a lot to lose). Of all of the video you have done this is the Video that resonated with me the most. I titrated to 5 this week and I still have the food noise but my body is done with the food. It is definitely habit and I suffered this first week. Even though my food choices where with in the guidelines given by my team and I did no go over my calories... I felt like I had to get all of those calories in. You have helped me so much! I never thought of riding the wave. I felt awful day 1 and 2 and I was so disgusted and I had only eaten with in my meal plan and tracked everything but was still sick. Now I can say that I don't have to eat if I just cant get it all in. Protein will need to be my best friend from now on.

Love your content! I had been on a stall after being on Zepbound 5mg for 7 weeks even though I changed my injection sites. I finally have had a breakthrough of consistent weight loss for the past 4 weeks while still on 5mg (2-4 lbs/week) by not only prioritizing protein but cutting out a lot of processed foods/even processed proteins. I know that Costco meatballs and other cooked proteins is convenient (and a better choice than the drive through), but there are a lot of other ingredients in those convenience foods - something to consider 😀

Ordered the scale, did my walk during lunch. I’m using WW, in the past it was a huge trigger(anxiety to weigh in) and this was 25 years ago go when I thought I was fat lol Now I’m older and wiser ha! Menopause has spiraled things downhill but I’m not giving up

💇‍♂️ ok so if you need help finding (12.5 and 15 showing available at Amazon only Zep but might help you). Loved this video. I love the LMNT and they ship so quickly. Now that I got the fiance on this journey my LMNT supplies are dwindling (he loves Raspberry Salt prob the best flavor besides grapefruit). I appreciate you so much! I hit the scale today and have hit 30lbs down from my HW at the dr when she presented these as an option. I can’t believe this I haven’t been this weight in 2 years. Such a blessing. Riding the wave this week and having some good side effects (I lean into my nausea at this point and sip LMNT) . 👩🏼‍🦳 #1- riding the wave!3 day peak for me as well! I’m on 5.0 I take my injections on Monday afternoons around 2-2:30p. I feel it the next morning! By end of week, I feel the difference as I am hungrier. Exercise is hard for me as I suffer with bad knees and neuropathy in my legs. But I move as much as I can. Thank you for all your help with understanding this Mounjaro journey and doing the “leg” work for us ❤

Hi Elizabeth! Thank you so much for this video. After my shot day On Wednesday my appetite suppressions does not start until Friday. I find it so strange because it seems like I’m the only one. The advice you are giving reminds me that we are all different and if it continues to help me lose some weight maybe I should try to focus on that. Your words are so encouraging and helpful. Hi there, Karen! I have the same experience and thought I was the only one! I inject of Fridays but my appetite suppression begins on Sunday. I’ve always appreciated how Elizzabeth is always reinforcing that we’re all different and our bodies respond differently…but it’s nice to know someone is having a similar experience, too.

I am RAVENOUS on mounjaro!!! I was on a compounded version of Ozempic for months but I could not tolerate it and essentially lost weight from throwing up. I was switched to Mounjaro 5 weeks ago and OhMY God!!! I have been eating non-stop!!! It’s the kind of hunger that will not be abated until I eat a humongous amount of food. I am mortified.

🎀💈I ordered the tape measure today! I already have the scale. I use my tumbler (I designed sublimation tumblers) working on fining the best movement tracking. I have 2 acres and a small farm here so focusing on more movement and walking the property! Like you it’s 30 min + to the gym and that’s just not feasible

I think you are a good albeit average not hypo or hyper responder if you have lost 82 lb so give yourself some credit! I will take 2-3 lbs per week as an average healthy amount of weight loss!

The arm was the worst appetite suppression for me. I injected myself. Best is the stomach. I was about to go up to 5mg after 1 month so thank you for saying to delay it. I'll do 90 days on 2.5 before moving up.

Hiiii! Next video can you go into talking about the difference between the zepbound 2.5 and 5mg. I read that the 2.5 has “no weight loss expectations” and that you don’t stay on that amount even if you are losing because it’s only for the first four weeks and that it’s just the initial dose to introduce it to your body and the 5mg is when you should really start feeling it work etc. On the zepbound website it then says (4weeks+) for the 5mg and up. I did my second shot on this last Friday and the first week I lost 4.6lbs, which I love but I still have a lot of food noise and hunger so I feel like I’m definitely gonna be white knuckling this for the next few weeks until I go up to 5mg. IF I can find it! That’s another point, since it’s even more demand now since the Oprah, I’m thinking about getting two or three months instead of one month at a time…

Update: My Dr is pushing me up to the 7.5 mg and recommended I take my shot every 5 days instead of 7. My insurance refills me every 21 days.

One of my things is singing in my church choir. With the hours of weekly practice and services, up and down stairs, sitting, standing, and focus, it really helps keep me moving. Also, things that can draw attention away from any potential hunger make those hours easier to deal with. My biggest action item is resistance training at least twice per week. Gotta get this going.

Forget the scale and take your measurements. You are building muscle with those workouts. Muscle weighs more than fat and water.

💇‍♀️ Thank you so much for all you do! I have been struggling the past 3 weeks. I'm eating things I know I shouldn't. I'm seeing my weight-loss stall when I eat things like fast food. Right now I keep getting a vanilla icecream cone (so yummy). I'm on month 5 of my Mounjaro weight-loss journey. I'm currently taking the 10 mg dose. I've lost 60 pounds. I get so excited when I pull out shirts or bottoms that fit again. Then on days 5, 6, & 7 I go backwards. The struggle is real. I'm also having so much trouble getting my water in. I'm open to suggestions. 😊

*Hi ‘Liz!* And cameo-appearance doggo Mr Freddy! 🐕 Just real quick… nice vid, important topic. And, on the hypo- vs hyper-responder thing (I prefer low- and high-responder myself; less ‘medical-ese’, but everyone knows what you’re saying)… I’d say you’re a hyper-responder, ‘Liz. IIRC, you’ve lost like 25-26 percent of body-weight so far, and as a T2D individual. And as you likely know, T2D folks lose about 1/3 less weight on average on these meds than non-T2D ppl (which kinda isn’t fair 😢). IOW, your results are *great*. And likely not just due to biology, but also the hard work you’ve put in on lifestyle changes (though biology sure doesn’t hurt, yeah?). 😊 Sure, you may’ve needed high doses to really shine on the WL (not sure on your history there), but even if so, your results are amaze-balls. Feel it. 👍 Also, 13:16 …what was the factual thing you wanted to correct? Was kinda unsure. 🤔 Last thing I’d add… I think appetite suppression is likely even *more* critical for folks with certain types of eating disorders. And in these days/weeks/months of current shortages, such folks likely could use info on all the non-GLP-1 ways that can help there. 💡 So, very timely vid, gurl. And it always seems to come back to the mental side. 🧘 Lates. 👋

Im on my 3rd wk semaglutide compound. I just looked up how much is 100grams in lbs. Surprisingly it’s only 1lb of beef or one chicken piece 4” is 100 grams. That for me puts it in perspective. I’m not there yet but can see me eating that. Even if every other day an maybe the protein shakes on some days. Although never found a good tasting shake. It was a waste of money. Just thought I would mention this.

I take my shot on Saturday right before bed and I noticed Thursday and Friday this week I was way more thirsty and Friday I wanted to eat 4.5 hours after my first meal where usually it’s 6-7 hours before I start to get hungry however I’m only on my 5th shot so far

👧 I actually got my 3- 40 oz waters mixed with lemon in today. But tomorrow I am going to work on getting my protein. The HHH I think was worse because of lack of protein.

Any physical activity wears me out and doesn’t make me feel better. It’s because of adrenal fatigue and high cortisol. But I am beginning to force myself to do it three days a week and maybe it will get better.

I start zebpound on 02/08/2024 I lost 21 pound till now and next week l will start 7.5 mg zebpound my doctor she said if you keep losing weight no need to go up I hope to back to my normal weight 😢

To hit my protein I have to add a serving of isopure twice a day, a do the Dutch chocolate and have that in my coffee each morning and then another serving later in the day of one of the fruity flavors. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to hit it either
