🍽️ I have made it a priority to track my protein daily and notice how different proteins make my tummy feel. I have been on 5mg Mounjaro for 4 mos now. When I hit a stall, I increase movement… so far it’s working great

🍽️. Was on Mounjaro 2.5mg for 15 weeks. Did really well, loss 38lbs. Moved to 5mg when the food noise was getting hard to handle. 4 weeks on 5mg, total loss 47lbs (19 weeks). Did some exercise this morning, going to do some strength exercise later today.

I was on 2.5 mg for 4 weeks, now 5 mg for 9 weeks, started my stationary exercise bike two weeks ago everyday for 30 minutes. Have lost 34.3# effective today. I document my food intake and protein. In the very beginning I was slightly nauseated for a couple of days. I make sure to eat foods that’s naturally make keep me regular. No more side effects. The 5 mg is continuing to be very effective and no food chatter, so I will continue it as long as it remains effective. I am also going to start a daily vitamin. Thanks all and good luck 😃

I am so thankful my doctor is a one stop shop for all of this. Not only is there a doctor, there is a nutritionist to check in with my eating and there is a psychologist I meet with to talk about this major lifestyle change and reframe my thoughts about food. I am a believer of all three in conjunction with each other because they all are related. I would say getting those (even if they are not in the same place) and having regular check ins has really helped with this adjustment. We got this!

🍽 I’m on 5mg mounjaro the first time I’ve had nausea really bad yesterday. I was gaining weight why because I wasn’t eating enough food. Now I’m tracking my food and I lost 5 pounds. It’s hard to eat when I’m not hungry.

I have been on 5mg Zepbound for 4 weeks, and so was debating moving up to 7.5mg after reading the Zepbound guide. It seems like Lilly is sugesting you titrate up every 4 weeks, so I went back and looked up this older video. Your channel is a wealth of information that i find usefull in conjunction with advice from my doctor and medical literature. My Doctor agrees I should stay on 5mg a while longer. I don’t think it totally has to do with side effects whether or not to move up - everyone is different :) I had terrible side effects with 5mg when I moved to 7.5 - the side effects went away! - so interesting lol

Well, that can happen… but it seems to be pretty rare. 🤷🏼‍♂️ IOW, if someone was currently having *bad* side effects on a particular dose, probably the LAST thing their doctor would recommend is to titrate up. 👩‍⚕️ Just sayin’. But happy it worked out for you. 👍

@@cloakster I totally understand….but it’s kind of a catch 22. Since every dose can have a different effect. You also have to measure the type of side effects - are they manageable? I stood on that dose until I was able to recognize what I needed to do to manage them - then I titrated up. Now they didn’t go away I just made sure to do what I needed to do so I didn’t feel like complete crap. I totally went into 7.5 freaking out - but then I didn’t have the same effects.

I have taken your advice to heart about not moving to the next strength too quickly. My NP is adamant that I move up to 5.0 zepbound after the first month on 2.5. But she also feels I will be staying on this strength until I am no longer losing at least 4 lbs per month . I have 125 lbs to lose and like you, I'm wanting to do it slow and steady. Thankfully I'm not having any negative side effects. I just want to thank you for sharing your info on this subject. You are truly a blessing.🍽️

🍽️I just took my 11th wk of 2.5. (down 30. Didnt gain or lose this past wk) Ill be moving up on wk 13. Food noise is coming back heavy, stomach is starting to grumble. Planning on staying at 5 for as long as possible as well.

I’m totally convinced that going up every month is a mistake. My healthcare has advised me to stay on the lowest dose for 4 months. Then increase up in the 5th month. So far so good. I’m concerned about getting to the highest dose and then what? Hopefully it will all fall into place.

Yup. I personally didn’t spend enough time at 2.5 or 5, and still regret it. 😢 Finally wised-up/knew more when I got to 7.5, and spent 4 months there. (Which was maybe 1 month too long… but still was a *great* dose overall for me. 😊)

I just started set down on Wednesday Thursday Friday. I am not feeling well. I feel very nauseous and constipated and I’m sleeping all the time. I’m on the 5 mg. 🍴Thanks for the reminder to get my protein. I also do not like touching raw meat, yuck! My local Kroger has marinated chicken breasts so I can use a tongs to place it on a cooking sheet. It's already flavored, less grossness to cut off, easy to make.

🍽 I also titrated up too quickly, but had to immediately stop completely for a few weeks after hitting10mg and restart at 5mg, although I since I had extra pens because of that, I was able to take 5mg every 5 days. Eventually I started splitting my dose and realized that I didn't have to jump from 5 (too little) straight to 7.5 (too much). It's worked wonders. My health care provider is pleased. I forget to put what I am doing, but basically every day trying to get my water in and gradually eliminating foods down to which ones I know work for me, then will add them back in to test so I know for sure what I personally cannot eat and maintain weight loss.

🍽 video came good time for me . I have been on Mounjaro since Feb 13 2.5 and then middle of April went to 5. I have lost 27 pounds definitely a turtle lol and was thinking about titrating up. I find now that I have been on 7.5 for 4 months and next month titrating up, the food chatter is back, but the drug doesn't let me gain weight as fast and I'm still eating better, not the best best but still pretty good therefore I pretty much find myself at a stall at my goal weight so just a little will power and the drug seems to keep me level even with a little food chatter. 🙏 🍽🍽🍽💉🍽🍽🍽 ~ Peter

🍽️ I just started 5.0 2 weeks ago. I was on 2.5 for a month. I didn’t feel like it did anything for me. Being on 5- I still haven’t had much results. I actually have gained a few pounds! I was on Ozempic from last April, by October my gallbladder was causing me pain, by November I had to get it removed. I was also having severe constipation which was also caused severe UTI’s. I stopped taking Ozempic in January. I started Mounjaro in June. The only side affects I have now are the nasty burps and tired all the time. Still have bad constipation. Eating more fiber and stool softener are helping. I eat a lot of chicken and eggs. Don’t eat a lot of beef cause it constipates me. I don’t like seafood either. I guess I should try protein shakes, but not sure what kind I should try. I am diabetic but I can’t have anything with artificial sweeteners because I’m allergic to them and they make my heart murmur. What do you suggest?? Thanks, Lynn

I am currently debating to move up to 7.5. I am still losing weight slowly on 5.0 but am going on vaca the end of August and do not want to be titrating up next month at the beginning of my vacation.

🍽 I feel absolutely stuffed and sick to my stomach when I eat 120 MG of protein. I watch your videos on my TV and then comment on my phone. They why my time stamp is only 12 seconds. I'm not cheating. 😊

5mg cvs has it I just got mine my insurance does 3 month boxes I'm down 30lbs just from 2.5 mg so let see what 5mg can do took first shot.

🍽️ haven’t even started MJ yet but my doctor already has me on a T-up schedule for every 4 weeks after I start. Should I say something ? 2.5/4wk. 5/4wk. 7.5/4wk. 10/4wk I’m already nervous to do this.
