Watching this while in quarantine, it honestly puts into perspective for my own health just how unhealthy fast food is. A sandwich, fries, and soda adds up enough calories to count for more than a third of what a person is supposed to eat in one day. The food is not very nutritious either so eating that is not going to be very filling unless a person eats A LOT of it at once, which adds even more calories. Once someone is used to eating a certain way with certain tastes, the body can become accustomed and even addicted to seeking out those tastes repeatedly. I had mood swings and bouts of anxiety when I cut out some foods with artificial sugar which I had been consuming regularly. Giving my body a "reset" from sugar, it was like my taste buds readjusted in time too. Now when I eat something with artificial sugar in it, I find the taste to be too intense even if I have just a bite. Eating an apple tastes like candy for me.
@kat._com3 жыл бұрын
That is really true
@mendygarcia99603 жыл бұрын

@trista79973 жыл бұрын
same! now that i've started eating healthier and less processed/fast foods i feel a lot better physically, and fast food isn't nearly as appetizing as it was when i ate it more often and the healthier food i cook is now what i'd prefer to eat
@silentstarz162 жыл бұрын
@@sostars05 I will say that doing a "reset" may be harder on some people than others. First you have to understand that if you're already regularly eating foods that have artificial sugar in them, your body has become accustomed to tasting that sugar and having it almost all the time. So if you suddenly try to eat less of it, it may trigger you to have more sugar cravings. It will be difficult, and in my case, when I started eating less artificial sugar foods and ate them less frequently, like with cookies and sugary cereal, I felt lethargic and moody because I was basically not allowing my body to ride high from all that artificial sugar like I usually did. But without the sugar, it showed what my body was missing. I started realizing that there were times my mouth felt dry and I confused that for hunger but it was actually thirst for water. The lethargy was due to my constant lack of good quality sleep. Not sleeping well often can trigger your body's hunger hormone, which will make you more hungry when you are awake. The downside to this is it also leads people to making junk food choices that are lacking in nutrition or eating more than their body needs. Natural sugar, in my opinion, is healthier than artificial sugar, so natural sugars in fruits are better nutrition-wise. Another thing to keep in mind is to be conscious of how society constantly shoves food in your face all the time 24/7, and even when you eat at a restaurant or grab a quick meal somewhere, the food portions are always huge as if they have already decided for you how much you need to eat. When you do eat, eat mindfully. Try to eat slower instead of gulping down huge bites and giving yourself a chance to taste the food and deciding for yourself if you actually like the taste or not. When you feel full, that's an okay time to stop eating and don't let anyone make you feel bad for not finishing everything on your plate. It may help to use a smaller plate for your food so you can give yourself a gauge of the amount of food you are eating, and by eating slower, you can figure out how much of that food is enough to make you feel full and satisfied. It's also okay to have unhealthy snacks every now and then, but be conscious if you are using food for emotional eating, like if you are eating out of boredom or because you feel sad/angry.

The thing about her not being able to stop eating is the carbs and sugar- with how quick they digest you get hungry faster even if you had eaten half of the calories you already need. That's the fun fast food for ya~!
@jennyulvestad94493 жыл бұрын
It's just weird to me that adults eat food like this consistently. I always thought fast food represented a last-resort, like if someone's planning fell through and they had to eat, so they went to McDonalds. Like if you're going to plan to eat out, why would you choose McDonalds?
@sunnyscott48764 жыл бұрын
"I like pretty much the whole McDonald's menu. " Well now, that's obvious because you are eating pretty much the whole McDonald's menu! 🤯🤯🤯🤯💣💣💣💣😱😱😱😱💣💣💣💣🤯🤯🤯🤯

Food is this woman’s whole reason of existence. It’s sad & pathetic. I’m so busy being a mother & wife that most days I get headaches in the afternoon & realize that I totally forgot to eat lunch. Ill open the microwave & find a plate I heated that I forgot to eat. She has no life, besides food. Her & Big Al are trying to game the system. They just can’t get it in their head that the only way to lose weight is to eat normal portions. They’re in a never ending cycle. That’s why they say that the best exercise for fat people to lose weight is to put the fork down & push their plate away. Sorry, no way around it.

I mean, I get them, I was the same 3 years ago and Im still on my journey to lose weight. But my mindset changed (and im 32 now). They need to wake up, because it wont go on forever. The bodily problems will only get bigger. I couldnt even walk 10 minutes without being winded (and I "only" weighed 332 lbs), I cant imagine how they must feel.
@SaeKato4 жыл бұрын
@It's a Bunnay Thank you! Im walking a lot, but due to a condition cant do that for very long. It helps tho! I could always recommend walking to Chantal and Amber and all of those people. I hope they will change someday, but I think they wont.

they both have eating disorders and that’s not something that can easily just be fixed by “pushing the plate away”. they need therapy bro

Ok, I mean there’s no denying that what she’s doing is unhealthy and very bad life choices that will leas to an early death but why do u care so much about her life. What she’s doing isn’t even affecting u personally so why even take the time to care so much abt it. I jusr don’t get it, It’s meaningless

For the arby's and the subway I could sorta understand how she racked up so many calories without realizing it. One meal at those places is ridiculous in terms of calories, but at least she only ordered one meal. Her McDonalds order made me sick, two large burgers, two fries, nuggets, and a row of sauces that she put on everything. I legit felt sick to my stomach while she was saying everything she had

The fries container is absolutely massive in the McDonalds video. Looks like double the portion size of a large McDonald’s fries in Sweden.
