The highly divergent Eastern Roman and Frankish identities and systems of administration and the fact that both Irene and Charlemagne were relatively old means that Neo-Roman Empire would only last to one of their old age, if not just ending with Irene assassinated and a Frankish attack on Greece.

The Byzantine Empire would actually be the stronger party in the union, it had both the economic and military advantage, the Franks would not invade the Empire's core territories however it would indeed most likely lead to a break up soon after Irene's or Charlemagne's deaths.

I raise your Poland-Lithuania-Russia and give you an alternative: Poland-Lithuania-Sweden-Russia. Sigismund III was of course Swedish, and wanted to be king of Sweden, Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania in addition to having his son be Tsar of Russia. Had this all succeeded, Władysław IV would’ve been King of Poland, Grand Duke of Lithuania, King of Sweden, and Tsar of Russia.

I find it interesting how egypt has pretty much been part of whatever the major empire in the region was at the time.

What is even more interesting is the diverse ethnic make up of it's ruling dynasties. Egypt has been ruled by dynasties of ancient lybian, Nubian, Greek, Arabic, Berber, Kurdish, Kipchak Turkic and Albanian background

There's one more case which was Bohemia in around 1300. Back then Bohemia, Poland and Hungary for a very short time united under one crown, a vast territory ruled by one monarch. But all ended with the rebellions and the brief monarchy quickly dismantled. Przemyslid dynasty. Just imagine if Bohemian Empire would've existed.

Didn't know Muhammad Ali was so successful. I knew about all other things. Really good video, but every one of this scenarios deserves its own dedicated video :) P.S.: Russia itself proposed throne to Władysław, but they wanted him to convert, upon which his fanatical Catholic father refused

He was actually a failure when you study it closely. Disasterous laws and made the local population rebellious and hate him, he couldn't fight most of his opponents and is considered the one that sabotaged egypt and started the process of decline in egypt and sudan to be occupied later on.

Sigismund III had also been King of Sweden and still claimed the throne even after his Uncle Duke Charles overthrow him, Had he manage to keep the Swedish throne a Union of Sweden, Poland-Lithuania and Russia would not be out of the question

There was the Kingdom of Sicily and Africa. Established by King Roger II, it ruled Southern Italy and Sicily, as well as Tunisia. After Roger II died in 1154, his kingdom fell into civil war. This allowed the Almohads to conquer Africa.

As you said with the Kalmar almost every state mentioned after were highly unstable and if not what stopped it in OTL had stopped it, they would have collapsed soon after.

The revival of Rome wont be cool for us Bulgarians tho. We destroyed east Roman armies for 3 centuries but there were times they coudlve sorted us out. Let alone another big army coming from the flank. Sure the Bulgarian army cant be scared by infantry and cant be caught off guard but if they advance in nums exceeding 80k men the whole populous would have to gtfo. It wont be as fast as cavalry dang.

I think you are very wrong about Egypt. Ottoman army was quite more developed than what he had and they vastly outnumbered the Egyptians. There's no world where Muhammed somehow wins against the Ottomans. Ottomans were shit and the fact that he could capture Egypt and hold it really shows how bad the situation was but... it's a fucking idiotic assumption to think that Muhammed can pass into Anatolia let alone reach Constantinople.

he not wrong in that time muhammed and egypte beat the ottoman in every wars they have , the european power literally have to intervene to prevent the egyptian of marching to constantinople not just one but twice. muhammed ali was a beter ruler and because of that the european fear a egyptian ruling ottoman empire.
