Marshall, my momma passed away in Oct 2021 of leukemia. She was 91. She also had Alzheimers and would forget she had cancer. I also have a picture of her hand in mine on her death bed. Yes, I miss her and still cry, especially when something jars my memory, like this video. I fell in love with your momma from her first video. She was so shy and humble, and I loved her giggle and her love for Jesus! You and I were blessed! ❤

I loved momma Joyce and I never even knew her just from her videos and I was going thru a hard time then my husband had cancer, so at night I'd watch mama on my lil phone screen so I could feel better. I know if I would have been able to talk to her she would have told me something uplifting. 😢

Marshall I absolutely loved watching your mom! I literally wrote down three or four recipes that she cooked. My daughter was looking for a recipe in my book and it was titled “Mama Joyce’s mac & cheese “. She said to me “who is Mama Joyce?”Lol! She was one of the sweetest ladies on camera. I told my husband, she reminded me a lot of his mother, my mother-in-law, who passed away at a very early age also of cancer, but not leukemia. Your mom‘s shy smile and giggle were so endearing! I understand why you may not want to cook in the kitchen, because you spent a lot of time with her there filming as she gave us all of her cooking tips! Thank you for sharing your sweet mom with the world! I think that company should continue to make the tea towels and aprons because there are a lot of people who would buy them because of their love for you and Mama Joyce. You could use the money for yourself, or decide to set up a scholarship for some young person going to a trade school for culinary. I’m sure something like that would make her smile!

That is all so precious, and I can only imagine you and your wife were beside yourselves during the presentations. I know how heart breaking it is to see all of that stuff and know your mama like you did, she no doubt was taken aback by that. She was a precious sweet soul!

I really enjoyed watching your sweet Momma. It made so sad. But Jesus knows best. I lost my dear Daddy and Mommy several years ago. They were married 60 yrs. They married at 17yrs and 18yrs in 1954. God really joined my Parents together. Daddy was a Preacher and a railroader for 44 yrs. In the Ohio Valley. My Mom sang, played the organ and led the choir. My 4 siblings and I really miss them so terribly. And all their grandchildren. But we have that blessed hope in Jesus that we all will meet again! We must keep our minds and hearts on Jesus!!
