Couple day trip with the guys and the Lone Peak Camper

Headed for the hills for our monthly guys trip. Spent a day up near Hama Hama, then headed north near Sequim for the second night. Weather wasn't the greatest, but we had a good time!

Think I'm going to loosen all the bolts a little, get the fitment right, and then tighten it all again and see what happens.

I have had my Lone Peak since December with no issues of sliding. I also purchased two extra pucks. I have a Tacoma so it uses a different mounting system compared to the Chevy.

Nice video. That's a bit concerning about the air hissing out of that bolt, where do you suspect water is intruding into the extrusion?

Most likely from the loose bolt. Will see if I have any more issues now that eveything is tight.

I’m looking at the same camp system as you and also own a Colorado. Does you shark fin antenna still pick up Sirius radio being covered by tent metal?

Can't speak on xm radio, as I don't use it, but have no issues with regular radio (I listen to podcasts 90% of the time)

What tablet are you using? And what overlay were you using for GAIA? OnX sometimes is easier because it's so simple and doesn't offer a lot of overlays but GAIA can be too complicated sometimes...I have good luck with the "Overland" overlay. Does it ever NOT rain there? 😭

Table is a tailgater tire table, Gaia I usually run the Overland overlay, sometimes the satellite one, and sometimes the usfs overlay. I'd say good weather 55% of the year lol

@@NigelNaughton totally read that wrong lol, playing with the kids haha. Tablet is just a cheap Samsung tablet I had in the drawer in my office collecting dust.

@@upper_left_adventures I always prefer an Android tablet, especially for this application as you can expand the storage easily. As long as it has built in GPS (LTE models). Thanks!

@@NigelNaughton luckily, all Samsung galaxy tablets have GPS even the non-lte ones which is what this is. Think it's a tab a7
