Sad to have missed you at NWOR. I saw you pass by going in to Leavenworth as we were headed to rally on Saturday morning. I agree with your sentiment about NWOR pricing. After attending 3 years in a row, I won’t go next year. Not even close to $85 value. Go to NW Expo and see far more for far le$$.
@upper_left_adventures15 күн бұрын
@@dxankor4136 yea, used to be a pretty good place to go for the weekend, we were walking by the ticket booth and heard them say $85 for a day pass and we told the people there it wasn't worth the money this year.

The front overhang on the camper seems to be moving quite a bit 3 minutes in to the video. You think you’ll have long term issues with that?
@upper_left_adventures22 күн бұрын
That's due to the bed Flex on the truck itself. It's obviously exaggerated when it's 4 and a half feet further from the Pivot Point. So far no issues, but only time will tell with anything. I had the same amount of flex with my old setup with my canopy and rooftop tent
@calebblazer767020 күн бұрын

Curious to see it mounted on a full size gear vault. On my F-150 i have a lot more cargo room on my gear vault under the bags, so when the table is folded up on a full size gear vault it might not allow access to the two lower gear bags.
@upper_left_adventuresАй бұрын
Didn't know they had different sizes, just watched their video, I see what you mean. Definitely won't be able to get into the lower bags on anything aside from the midsize truck version. Takes about 2 seconds to drop the table down to access them though.
@diypunxАй бұрын
@@upper_left_adventures I think there's probably a few different ways to make it work. Could lower the bags down on the Mole portion and lose some of that cargo space, could adjust the size of the table to clear the lower bags or maybe even drill a couple holes and move the mounting bracket up just a little bit.

Oh one more thing... I looks like a lot of the rig is built out of 80/20 extruded aluminum railing. All using some type of t-nut. Sound right?
@upper_left_adventures2 ай бұрын
My interior is built with 2020 extrusion, the camper is built with custom extrusions Kyle had made. Unfortunately, they have one major flaw. I believe they did it on purpose, others dont. The extrusion he made is custom, and as of yet, have not found a single source other than lone peak directly to buy t nuts. Its the size of m10 t nut track, but uses m8 bolts.

Nice video. How would you compare this to the Super Pacific? I'm in the market and want to vet everything before pulling the trigger on 10K - 15K. Also, what would you say your build cost without the interior cabinets and accessories? I assume this holds up well in the rain of the PNW. Thanks again for the video. It helps us noobs do the right thing. :) Cheers.

Ive never slept inside another camper, so dont have a direct comparison. But I can tell you its miles ahead of a go fast camper, and not another camper out there has the passthrough space, and room inside. And price cant be touched by any of the competitors.
