Tennis from a different perspective is back you guys! Thanks for the love shown in all my previous Court Level View Points videos. I hope you guys enjoy this one as much as I did! Got quite a lot of the points from the Ultimate Showdown Tennis tournaments (UTS), but also found quite a few Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic points. Unfortunately I couldn't find new court level points from Rafa Nadal and Daniil Medvedev but I'll keep digging for the next ones. You'll see a lot of Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Richard Gasquet, Dustin Brown, Sascha Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov, Matteo Berrettini, Corentin Moutet and Felix Auger Aliassime!

the UTS was a gift to tennis fans everywhere. The camera angles was amazing, and the format made it a highlight factory. Since no one cared too much about the results, everyone was able to hit and move so freely. No tightness at all to slow them down.

@@satyu131089 just watch djokovic train and federer everything will be clear
@kevinchang8090
@kevinchang8090 3 жыл бұрын
@@satyu131089 I would agree that federer has better footwork than djokovic over all, but it is more about discipline than balance. Actually, if there was one thing that djokovic naturally has over federer, it is a sense of balance. Djokovic's ability to maintain balance while on the move and especially during his signature triangle slide is unmatched in the sport. Djokovic's footspeed isn't actually all that impressive compared to many other athletes in the sport. Even within the big 3, nadal definitely has greater footspeed than djokovic, particularly if you want to compare the prime versions of all the big 3. However, his ability to maintain top speed all the way up to the ball and then apply maximum deceleration while simultaneously remaining balanced for a quality forehand or backhand is unreal. Both federer and nadal have to choose between either slowing down before reaching the ball (thereby lowering their effective "footspeed" in order to make a balanced strike) or delaying their deceleration until after they take their swing (thereby lowering their recovery rate and compromising their position for the follow up shot). Not djokovic. djokovic gets to do both, and it is specifically because of his unmatched balance that he creates this illusion of speed, when he is simply moving more efficiency and effectively. - All this said, I do still agree that federer has better footwork than djokovic overall, and it is most easy to see when you compare them on the attack. Djokovic's footwork is simply not as disciplined when he has time to setup. However, the "breaking point" of djokovic's footwork is much greater than federer's. When federer is being pushed around and forced to stretch, he loses balance a lot, while djokovic will often be able to maintain balance. When djokovic is given plenty of time and it now falls upon him to take the aggressive role, he will sometimes lose balance while federer will never lose balance in such a situation haha.
