The Federal High Court in Kano gave a 48-hour ultimatum to two Kano State judges, Lawan Adamu, and Zuwaira Yusuf, to resign their appointment from the judicial commissions of inquiry, set up by the State Governor, Abba Yusuf.
The two justices were appointed by Governor Yusuf to serve on the commissions of inquiry to probe former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s government.
The former Governor had gone to court to stop incumbent Governor Yusuf from probing his administration.
