I feel like with getting into poetry a lot of people put all this pressure on themselves to fully understand every single aspect of a poem, and it's like, sometimes poetry is just about the vibes! and I love how you were drawing while reading because I feel like that's very in the spirit of things, just experiencing the poetry and drawing a little picture

Doc Martens are really amazing shoes. My mom got herself a pair back when she was in her 20's. She wore them all the time. Then once I was a teen and in my goth phase I was allowed to wear them all the time. Now I am in my mid 20's and she still wears that one pair she got decades ago. These shoes feel like they are unbreakable, it's crazy!

Seconds in and i'm already hitting the like button. VIBES 🍂 Also, i feel like Leonie's reading vlogs deserve a reward of some sort, like an emmy for best director but for a KZfaq vlog. They're always so cozy and beautiful and relaxing. I've tried looking for this feeling in other booktubers' videos, but couldn't find it.

I studied John Keats many years ago in highschool. I think his poems are a very good entry point into poetry, the romantiscm era, and are very palatable for non native English speakers!

speaking of random doodles (around 11 minutes), I had a dream the other night where I lent a book to a very old friend I hadn't seen in ages, and when she returned it she commented on those doodles, so I worried I had betrayed some emotions toward her which were not especially appropriate. i've had a pair of docs for over a decade now and they're still going strong! I got a pair of doc sandals as graduation present this summer and i had to break them in, which i'd forgotten about from my boots, but they're two of my most comfortable pairs of shoes!

I've been wearing doc martens for 8 years at this point and just bought my second pair this year!! I can't recommend them enough, these boots have seen so much traveling, rain, dirty snow side walks here in Canada... they're the greatest! The first name that popped into my brain for this very round fox is Oscar 🥰 this video was so beautiful as always Leonie!! Hope you enjoy your soup and your jam 🍂

Your pumpkin patch isn't the same as my pumpkin patch, although yours looked like a lot of fun to wander about. Here in Oregon (US), you go to a farm and walk out into a field full of pumpkins and pick one. Or two. Or seven. I also grow pumpkins but this year I only ended up with one teensy pumpkin. I did grow quite a few different kinds of winter squashes though! Your pumpkin was a great soup pumpkin. (And yes, you can roast it even with that filminess on the seeds, it will crisp up and be fine. I heartily approve of both your Dr. Martin's and your adorable bed fox. I have a pair of suede Dr. Martin's in a pumpkin orange color. I found them in my size, brand new, at a thrift store about fifteen years ago and they still look brand new. I love them.
