The feature I want the most when it comes to cards and splits, is to be able to take any card that I've taken to infinity and change the border/background/effect to what I want. I want a card like Enchantress with the green nameplate to have a green border, but also 3D/animated!

13:36 Forge buffs the left most card whether its Mysterio or an illusion. Meaning the demon will always be the left most card.

As a quality of life feature, I want the ability to undo a turn if the opponent hasn’t finished yet. I can’t tell you how many times I wished I could take back a turn and then have to wait knowing that I could have done something better.

@@machinayrequiem8596 i suppose, but I feel like marvel snap blends strategy with it also being bite-sized/“just one more round” So sure, I think, but often make my moves quickly because it’s a lighter game that’s only 6 rounds.

That will only work about 10% of matches, because 90% are bots that insta lock their turn.

Same here got to the beginning/middle of series 3 within the first few months and lost steam. I’ve been back ever since the Draken season and am hooked again! The spotlight cache system is a game changer, the fact that there are 4-5 new cards each month is huge!

25:39 Double her power is gonna be fine in an Elsa deck. You play her then she gets the plus three then doubles to 10. Behind her was Kitty so Kitty lifts up next turn and opens the spot back up. Or you Forge into her, Elsa bonus, doubt power. Honestly even a 1/4 isn't bad last turn if you must.

I really really want a draft mode. It's always my favorite way to play card games. Draft adds back that element of deck building from all players instead of the ladder copy pasta best deck

One thing that i hope to see in Marvel Snap is introducing some kind of Tribal mechanic. Its so strange to me that all of the Avengers just flat out dont synergize with each other. Same for the Xmen really. Id love to see a sort of system where say if you have so many cards played from a certain "team" you get an effect that stays permanent throughout the game.

I'm with you, I play Dokkan Battle for the mobile. On there, it took a while. But they introduced teams where you can use together as in, "Family's", "Saga's" or even "Movie Villans".. So you actually have teams that work together as in the anime/show.. Would love to see X-Men or Avengers all have built in effects when they work together. Even a Wakanda team with the existing Black Panther characters.

I have certainly enjoyed tribe mechanics in other card games, but it does bring about the danger of deck creation being a bit too much on the rails in that you have very little creativity in mixing things up or adding your own twist and that would be especially true in a card game where your deck size is 12 cards.

I'm fine without it honestly. It's one of those things where it would be neat the first couple times you get to do it but it would make deck building less fun and would be bad for the health of the game. High Evo is the closest we have to that right now and it's been one of the most hated archetypes for months now

I've been asking suggesting the same thing. If the border change is too much work. I'd like to be able to rank down to the rare or epic version of the card once I upgrade a variant or card to infinite.

The thing with Nico that ppl aren’t really getting re: her randomness is that she becomes less random as the turns go on, because her spells don’t repeat during a game. The longer she’s in your hand, the more confident you can be in what spell you’ll get. Couple that with the fact that a lot of her spells have similar “types” of effects (play destroy and demon effects with a cheap and/or drawback heavy cards, play copy and buffing effects with lane-winner cards) and you can really cut down on the RNG.

The longer she is in your hand the less chance of hitting the spell you want occurs. If you play her turn 5 you now have 7 possible spells on turn 6. Play her on turn 1 you now have 5 turns to roll the 7 different spells. So the sooner she is played the more confident you can be with what spell you get.

Alongside splits looking visually better, I think they should absolutely add a way to customize cards. I should be able to cycle through ever border, card effect, split background, particle effects and colors that I have specifically collected for a card. Lets say I split Jeff 10 times, I should be able to mix and match every cosmetic feature I've collected throughout those 10 splits. Then, rather than those splits taking up space in your collection, they can just collapse them into a single card for each base or variant card. I want my Jeff to be Inked, Grey border, 3D/Animated/Shiny Logo. I'd probably turn off the particle effect most of the time unless its a Kirby Crackle. But either way, I want to be able to customize my cards and variants. I hope they'll add that this next year.

Half agree. Yes Nico will swing and miss, but as a 1 cost it'll just be upside or not played. Your deck shouldn't rely on a specific spell to function.

I want a unlocked frame selector. I don’t upgrade my cards because of this. I don’t want to regret for choosing a bad frame. And it’s really easy to do, so i hope we will get it. Would be great.

There seems to be an issue with the voice recording of alex, because I couldn’t hear him. I feel like a good feature to add would be the ability to choose the card borders after you upgrade the card The are cards that look better with a gold border than they do with an infinity border , why not being able to go back, I already payed for the upgrade

One thing I want to see is once you upgrade a card, you can choose the border on it. So if you get a nice split and want to upgrade to see it a different border you can take it back if you want

Nico is either going to be wild cause she can fit in a ton of decks, or a bust for not being reliable. I am personally leaning toward her being hard to use because it's not always a reliable draw.

It’s a one cost card, not a 4/5 cost card. You just need one or two effect to go off and she’d be good. And if you draw her late you don’t need to play her, just like drawing bast on turn 5. Even just a 1-4 isn’t a bad card or just destroying a forge and drawing two cards.

I do think with Mysterio question, I believe do to the left most card being played first Cozy was right and thats exactly how it works. Plus same thing happens with Arnim Zola, left copied card is revealed first.

The first suggestion from Cozy and Alex for stuff Snap should have in year 2 was spot on. Drafting is my favourite thing in all card games that it works with, or at least limited formats (to use an MTG term). Played so many prereleases in the past of TCGs I wasn't even fully collecting because it's just so much fun, felt a little more luck based but also not as pay2win. Social groups with rewards is a great call, I have many friends who have played Snap on and off and this sort of thing would definitely keep them playing more. Regarding Nico, she looks interesting and I'll be opening for her. I also wonder what other Runaway characters will appear in Snap down the line - bring in Old Lace and do something to tie it with the other raptors?

I'd like to see team affiliation bonuses. I used to play table top game called Hero Clix. Team affiliations were a large part of it. For example: X-MEN,AVENGERS,FANTASTIC 4, SINISTER 6,and they get bonuses as a team.

Would love to have a full art mode when you click the title to see the artist, some of art is lost when frame break, it’d be cool to see the entire piece, show love to the artist. And let the guy who did the most hated pixels go back and give it a second try.

I'm late but here's a deck I've been doing. Ramp style, wolverine, dead pool , and nico. IF YOU RAMP UP NICO arnim her on turn 6, her double power spell will trigger. . AND when she's brought back with Phoenix force. At least with her it adds. A bit more ramp opportunity with her. She'll also make a copy of venom AFTER hes eaten her btw, if you used the copy spell

I think some quality of life changes would be a friend system, maybe not as in depth as you guys were talking. Maybe start out being able to add your friends via your own code, friend requests after a match, maybr show case your favorite card atm. Im personally someone who love seeing stats as well, so being able to see wins or losses. Or my most played card would be a sick addition.

I think some nice little quality of lifes would be things like maybe some new music once in awhile, maybe for at least conquest mode? Maybe some more sound effects or just graphical effects for more cards(Like Cyclops's lazer beam). That would be so sweet compared to some cards doing aboslutely nothing. Or maybe enhance effects as you upgrade the aesthetics. If it slows things down, then make it an option rather than a mandatory change.

Another nice split! Do you time it for the KZfaq ads too? It timed perfectly and left me hanging through two ads. I thought it was a gimme that cards would work together in some way. They want to encourage players to use the new cards and if players don’t have cards to support the new theme they’ll prolly go play something else…

I want them to make it so you can select any border/background variation you have unlocked of a card. I had the perfect legion with a red border that complemented the card's background, upgraded it and it is not longer as cool

I don't see how she could ever be bad. I understand the consistency arguments, but I see her as more of a location card that you put in your deck. When you think of it that way she's no different from Legion.

Trading variants would be nice. Draft mode for sure. And finally, I think this game needs mini-sets that could be bought with in-game resources. Not in a seasonal way, but from time to time would be nice to give some spice to the meta.

Given that there’s seven spells, I thought it was obvious that the spell depends on the turn since “the spells change each turn”, they’re speaking as if you can get any spell on any turn. Not that either party is inherently wrong, they could be right, but I highly doubt they’re going to let a 1/2 shuri exist purely by random chance. But maybe that’s just me.

I think Nico with Phoenix Force will actually be super solid and underappreciated. Incredible use of the destroy and draw spell and the move right spell.

I want to see Variants be a larger part of the game. 1st- be able to pin variants in the store7 2nd- Have a variant wishlist (maybe 10 max) and the 48th open on Season Pass be a Guaranteed 1 of your 10 3rd- Have a variant exchange system where you can level up a variant to Infinity then sell it for a "Variant token". 1 token is an free blind open, 3 is guaranteed 1200 variant and 5 is a variant out of your wishlist. Variants can be a fun way to play without having to play well. Lose who cares I'm getting boosters and building a badass Variant collection. MORE GOLD also!

All of the effects are good with a bounce deck. Even the move one is good with elsa, and doubling nicos power after forging her is also a good play. Maybe even elsa her before

I wish I could exchange a spotlight cache for collectors tokens. I've gotten more cards since spotlight cache started but it sucks that it's harder to get a specific card I want.

About qol changes, I really wanna see an auto mute feature. At the start of each game, I always mute because the emotes can be pretty toxic sometimes. It's a habit at this point to mute my opponent every time, but it would pretty nice not to have to do that every single game. I also sometimes forget, and then they just do the "👍🏻" emote when they win, and it's pretty annoying

24:30 it might just be me but those two in a Daken/ Deadpool deck that already has the destroy engine could work fine with it. Not saying you want to pull this spell on purpose but with the other destroy elements and the synergy with the power boosters makes it so you can see a consistent benefit from that spell.

I voted for the Torch because it was the only one I didn’t have. I’ve wanted Ghost Rider but they gave it away as part of season pass just recently. I probably liked the Shang art the best but I’d will almost always be wanting the card I don’t have first and having only starting to play the game like 5 months ago I need a ton.

The main thing that I would like to see in Snap in the future is a dedicated PvE mode akin to Legends of Runeterra's Path of Champions mode. To me it's a super fun way to play the game without the sweat and toxicity of PvP.

I think a really good combo is phoenix force. You can destroy a human torch or vulture without having to play a carnage or deathlock. Just an idea Edit: i think they need to add a 2v2 mode. Maybe instead of 3 lanes theres 5 lanes. It would be more casual imo and it would work

Ease of life must have: I should be able to move my card between lanes before I lock in the play not having to place all cards I placed this turn back into my hand then play all over again that’s crazy
