I like Cozy's idea for the albums. I have 40+ Dan Hipp variants, and yet only have 5 of the 12 in the album. And the Dan Hipp Cosmo is the only thing that I'd even want from those.

The biggest thing people are missing about the Hipp album is it's not a general Hipp album, it's just as focused as the other two. The Hipp album is an Ongoing Hipp album which is why it's called "Staying Hipp", so of the cards in it are ongoing cards. Taking from your pool of any random Hipp is against theme and design.

My biggest gripe with the albums was they were hyped up as behind the vehicle we'd FINALLY get new emotes but the system is so player unfriendly noone has access to the new emotes :/

⁠@@somethingcatchy4795play only Domino. You get those 3 random cards in your hand at the start of the game. Include the 3 Cost „both player draw a card“ card and you have a very high chance of ending up with the blob in your hand

I get that, but I really don't think they should. Most affliction cards only work in the lane.. I wouldn't be surprised if Hazmat gets changed to also only work within a lane. Having Luke Cage turn off every single lane is kind of unfair. Pick a lane carefully for Luke and then put big cards in another lane. Probably only if the meta shifts towards affliction decks.

@@Alex-zi1nb Lol, imagine if Armor did that. Of course Caeira (or however its spelled) is coming out which will essentially be a board wide protection for 1 and 6 cost cards. To think Killmonger and Shang-Chi will probably drop out of the meta next year as disruption cards.

@@An.Unsought.Thought Shang Chi will still have a spot, there are several times where your big cards aren't 6-cost. Darkhawk, Redskull, Task, Sentry, etc. Killmonger will def take a hit though

Maybe Luke Cage can keep his current ability, but as a 1-cost card. I think he would start to see some play again if they did that, and even then not like how he used to be with his OG ability.

I wish Chavez would have retained her cost/stats, but changed to be similar to Heimdall: Move all cards to a new location (if possible). This would be more inline with her portal power.

I’m really excited for a Blob/Thanos deck, especially when Cull Obsidian arrives. You can either play him as a 4/10, or if he never makes it out of your deck he will make fantastic Blob food.

Except for all the times both Cull and Blob don't get drawn, which in a Thanos deck will happen quite frequently.

@@dasoupsoup also you don’t care if you draw both, that’s literally the entire point. If you draw cull, it’s a cheap 10 power card, and if you draw blob, it’s 10 power on blob. It’s actually only WHEN you draw both it’s a “problem”

What about Moon Girl? To fill your hand. So when you have a game winning board/hand. You Moon Girl, fill, and you can't draw anymore, so it keeps your deck bigger for Blob.

I have a CL of 3000 and the autocomplete feature has been pretty cool! sometimes I've struggled fitting in one or two last cards for a deck since I'm missing them from the meta list and i get an accurate replacement. Though there also have been times where it has done silly things like randomly putting luke cage and cerebro in a zoo deck or creating a phoenix force deck without any destroy. In general I'd say it's a positive!

You guys are spot on with the Albums. I was shocked that there were only three and all of them were making you dig for newly released cards AND THEN they stick that venom boosted random prem slot in the store. Literally the only thing they did that was remotely community "friendly" was not limiting the buy 10 get 1 random free +2k tokens. It used to be once a week, but now it looks like you can complete it multiple times

I absolutely love the change to Chavez! I never really used her because I hated that she killed the draw on turn 6 if I needed a shadow king/chi. Now I actually use her in decks!

I feel like blob sandman is finally gonna put Loki in the ground. Even though Loki starts ahead sandman stops Loki from putting more than 1 card later and his deck has a ton of small cards, but sandman’s deck has huge cards. So it can catch up at the end and actually have a really good chance of

This week's episode marks my personal 1 year anniversary of watching the Snap Chat! Love the show and will continue to support it. I really like that idea of the Blob in the classic Moon Girl Dino package, maybe with Collector thrown in to benefit from all those extra cards generated. Maybe he can see some action in Loki decks also, since your goal in Loki is to take your opponents' cards, but if they're playing a strategy that doesn't benefit you, eat your own deck for massive power. I'm still reeling over the Elsa Bloodstone nerf, I was really unhappy about that. I loved Shuritty, but that deck is much more limited now, even if Kitty got back a measly one power.

The deck builder tool is very cool. I'm series complete (well, except Martyr and 2099) so for me it's fun to just have it build a deck around one or two cards - I used this to do the weekend missions in fact. However where I think it will be the best is for people with partial collections, being able to net deck something good and have the deck builder fill in the gaps for them. That would have been massive for me when I was starting my collection.

Really good Christmas movie is The Christmas Chronicles. Netflix movie, has a sequel that was decent but the first one was a awesome movie with a great memorable Santa jail scene. More raunchy side, The Night Before (I think that’s the name) with Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie & Joseph Gordon Levitt is a great one for some good laughs in a holiday environment. Jingle All the Way and Deck the Halls are good choices too

Good job once again Cozy and Alex on another episode! I totally agree that albums were a whiff. Especially, that you have to have specific variants for each album and not just a certain amount. I went into it like aww man I have so many Dan Hipps I’m going to get so many rewards. Then I only had 3-4 specific ones. Big Sadge…I hope they make some type of change.

With the deck generator it made a deck with Wong but didn't have any on reveal cards to go with it? But what I really like about the deck builder is you can even use it to COMPLETE a deck. I was building one and had a few spots left and used the generator to fill them. That was helpful.

With the albums I agree now they should introduce variant packs and have more albums or more cards in them albums and also being able to get them in spotlight caches would be great because spotlights feels kind of useless right now

Gonna try Blob in my Loki deck since It gets loaded up with cards from other sources and you'll have the option to either Loki or play the cards you have and Blob like 5 to 6 cards in your deck.

I think there are some edge cases with the deck builder, but I think it's very solid in general. I do expect it to improve over time, though. I also think that it's going to have some bad recommendations right after a card gets nerfed, though. Right when it launched, I noticed Black Knight was including Chavez. I don't think it was bad since it had Daken in it as well, but I think it had it there because Chavez was standard in all Discard, not because there was a buff synergy involved.

I actually agree that global effects should probably be made location specific. I am surprised that they did not change Hazmat alongside Luke Cage. Because now I feel like, I don't want to run a Hazmat Junk deck because it has significant blowback on your own cards. I feel like now they should make Hazmat location specific, and then increase the amount of affliction she does. I believe she takes away 1 right now? Make it -2 affliction. You'd probably play her in the same lane as Luke Cage anyway. Man Thing you can already work around by being mindful of the cards you put in that lane. Paired with Ms Marvel and Man Thing could probably solo a lane. Luke and Hazmat could maybe do some work on another lane to flatten the difference between your cards and your opponents.

I'm at like 2200 collection level and I've noticed that if you don't have the cards that would fill in a meta deck, and don't pick something that defines and archetype it will continously fill into 1 deck. My deck happens to be pro x control, it's practice x, doctor doom, storm, psychlock, and then any other cards that randomly fill

Couldn't have agreed more with you guys on the albums. SD had the perfect opportunity to start that option out on a positive note and totally missed the mark. Hopefully, they'll adjust and make it something worth investing resources into. As for the deck builder, it actually got me to Infinite. I ran from the mid 70s to 90s with an auto Crossbones build then a deck based on Echo took me the rest of the way. I think it's a great feature and look forward to seeing how they improve it. As always, thanks for the video and what you do for the community.

Christmas Story here... I was young when it came out, so it's not nostalgia related to yesteryear. It was always loved by the family, it’s most certainly was my Mom's favorite, and the Mom in CS reminds me of my mom, who I lost in my mid 20s to lung cancer. I believe Chavez' nerf opens up possibilities to buff Kang as some sort of deck thinner until turn 5. And it might also influence Howard the duck. Imagine playing Kang (always draw this on turn 5), and then getting another card if you rewind the turn, then Howard mght be useful

My pick for Christmas Movie: Ikiru/Living by Akira Kurosawa. It's not *really* a Christmas Movie. But it takes place in the winter - it's also both extremely sad and extremely uplifting in the best ways (both). You just have to be ok with very old black and white quality. But it's one of the best movies ever made, so there's that.

worth noting that if you play all six stones thanos becomes a 20 wherever he is (even in your deck) so he def might have blob synergy

Blob would work in destroy as well. If you had a big knull and deadpool in your hand on turn six, you could play blob and death and get the power of knull and deadpool

They are in your hand though, and blob only uses deck. Which by turn 6 is usually 3 cards at most, if all your big power cards are in your hand blob is useless.

How about this for an America Chavez change that also keeps its original flavor? America Chavez : When drawn gain that much energy as attack. Or maybe some variation of that. Like gains cost (start at 0) or attack (say base 3) to your max energy when drawn. It can keep the flavor and theme of the character traveling and adapting through dimensions. It might feel more unique. If not, here’s a free idea for a card Glen 🙈

@@MisterBadman it would be like a giant silk, i figured it’s a way to maintain the flavor without destroying the card, but i like the change they made. i had a feeling they were gonna release an “unkillable” big card soon, which we’re now seeing with ebony blade and the upcoming cull obsidian

@@DickTracy-zi3iu do you have trouble reading? there is literally a card in the game that works in a similar way with silk already. it would be a card that engages both sides, the opponent can kill it to move it, but has to play to potentially beat it somewhere else

Yo this made the Chavez nerf make sense. Idk about playing with this card, but it’s for sure going to change the cards I put in decks. Shang chi feels like a must more then ever, and ironically I think Chavez is gunna be a small part of the meta in conquest and lower ranks.

I think changing Elsa to be one location is good but yeah she needed buffs to offset it. Minimum +3 on her ability and maybe 4 power.

Been brewing for the future. I think destroy thanos with big boys could be really good. Pretty standard thanos discard with blob, Salazar, and the mew 10 power 4 drop that comes out in February. Can get Sakaar cheap easier with venom/death/new 4 drop

Blob works well in my black Knight deck. I get to shuri ebony blade, then either taskmaster or blob depending on what I draw. The only issue is there isn't alot of room for tech cards other than armour. I can even psylocke t4, blob task t5 and taskmaster t6.
