The CASO train(CP TE21) would spend quite abit of time finishing up the switching rail cars out of our sight before showing up at Hewitt Road just off the west end of the Canadian Pacific Welland Yard.
Before the CASO train can journey down the largest active remaining part of the formerly known CASO Subdivision
It must first come off the Welland Yard siding track and onto the CP Hamilton Sub mainline past Hewitt Road railroad crossing in Wainfleet, Ontario.
While waiting on the otherside of Hewitt Road the ground crew flip the switches on the mainline over to the former CASO Subdivision.
The Crew then flag and protect the Hewitt Road crossing so the CP CASO Train can now back on the CASO Spur line.
Once all the tracks have been realign to normal locking position the CASO train is now ready to make it's way down the Old CASO line.
The CASO train will go the slowest speed possible and take the rest of the night to reach Port Maitland it's final destination and last job for the night.
