CPKC Rail Train!

4 ай бұрынNo narration for this video since there wasn't that much to say in my opinion. They were laying rail between Calhoun and Choudrant, Louisiana. Supposedly, the siding in Calhoun may be getting an expansion, but I think this was just standard replacement of rails. Could be for the expectancy for an increase in traffic (From CSX and eventually Amtrak). No telling but I hope y'all enjoy!

Nice catch. This brings back memories. When I was a brand new conductor I was called for one of these. Pretty easy day, my hoghead did most of the work as we were picking up rail. I didn’t have to do anything until it was time to watch and protect the shove back.

Neat to see! We had a rock train come work around Artesia and I was able to catch them lay ballast on the Tuscaloosa sub. It had KCS power but CP and Milwaukee rolling stock.

You should check out the New Orleans sub, been seeing KCS 6083 consistently on local jobs
