This panel was damaged last year by me (I dropped it). I tie in these flat mounted panels in the summertime for more power (about 900w more) I guess I never noticed this panel getting hot...and during this video, it wasn't even sunny. So, not wise to run it. This 12v (200w) cracked panel is being replaced with a 24v (200w) Newpowa mono solar panel.
I discovered the panel hot spots while shimming up the Superstrut racking with square washers. I got about 3.5-deg tilt toward the sun with the big Q-cell panel and about 7.5-deg more tilt toward the sun with the two 200-watt panels. Before, they were both angled 1.9-degree AWAY from the sun. Now, rainwater and soap-water (cleaning them) will run off better along with a pinch more power.

I dropped it last year and still used it all year. Prob not too wise. While I was adjusting the racking, I had to dismount that cracked panel...and "crunched" it some more...likely really messing it up. New 200w replacement panel will be installed next week. It's a 24v panel vs 12v...but, still 200w.
