Actually, Skynet never needed to fight the humans to end them, if the Terminators were sex robots. It just needed to disrupt human reproduction, by sending Terminators to bang the humans so well, that they preferred the robots, and never dated again. In one generation Skynet would own the planet.

Sorry, dude, but your final point is flawed: Cyberdyne didn't develop the cloned flesh technique. SKYNET did. You see, with the way Cameron designed the first film, Skynet came online and became self aware, nuked the planet and then began to develop the HKs and eventually the Terminator units to round up and kill humans. Reese mentioned that "The 600 Series had rubber skin, easy to spot." Basically, Skynet knew that it needed to develop infiltrator units and went from the clearly noticeably machine designs (in a storyboard that wasn't used in the film, there was a four legged, Spider-like designed HK that had a similar top design to the massive tank-treaded HKs. It was cut due to the budgetary restrictions, and its design was reused in the "Terminator Salvation" video game) to the bi-pedal design, and eventually tried to use rubber skin to disguise the machine, finding out it didn't work and then resorted to using cloned skin because humans could clearly tell the difference. Skynet developed the cloned skin Terminators, not Cyberdyne. They developed Skynet. Prior to that, they were just a regular computer/tech company that probably manufactured PCs before they reversed engineered the chip and then started to go after military contracts because of their developments.

The thing that always bothered me about the terminator franchise is why do the machines always seem to wait like 15 years between each attack? After Arnie dies in terminator 1 there should just be cop goo terminator standing there ready to finish off sarah. They have time machines why would john connor be more vulnverable in his teenage years than literally any other time leading up to that moment? Also Sarah shouldve thought about getting her name legally changed

TSCC was fantastic, shame no one watched it.

Kyle Reese mentions in the first movie that Terminators originally had plastic skin, before they upgraded to full skin, so as to not look so fake. For Kyle to remember it, this upgrade had to have taken place AFTER Judgement Day. This doesn't completely negate the sexbot theory, but it does damage it somewhat. Also, in one of the flashbacks, this tactic seemed to have work. Also, they DO have war machines with built-in weapons, as in, the Hunter-Killers. However, despite being made for war, and only war, they are unable to get rid of the human camps. This is basically because of how guerilla warfare works. You see this in our own world, as tanks and planes fail to decide wars that are essentially fought from inside caves, and ground troops have to be sent in. I will admit that the part about "destroying the mainframe" is quite suspect, since we clearly see that Terminators can act independently when they are sent back in time. By that reasoning, every unit in Skynet's army should be able to act completely independently, albeit be limited to just one or two missions.

This is my favourite show on cracked, well worth the wait!

7 years in the future and the line "they got mad that they had to have sex with me" still completely kills me.

Except the sexdoll theory doesn't pan out because it makes sense to cover them in skin from a tactical stand point. They needed to blend in and move covertly among the humans for assassinations. Granted they're still flawed but it is a good idea.

We didn't evolve for battle efficiency.... But we are better at it than everything else.

On Reason #3: to be fair, the time loop that Skynet created caused Skynet's advancement to accelerate. In the first timeline Skynet was created and sent a T-800 back in time. The CPU from that T-800 was recovered and used to create Skynet in the second timeline (sooner than in the first) and the cycle continued causing Skynet to be created sooner and sooner through each movie.

Dan, the car coming through the doors is designed to take out the extremely thick wall between the entryway and the rest of the police station. You can see the terminator scanning the wall before he leaves. He concludes he can't punch or shoot through it so goes to get a car. Again, planning.

This episode was absolutely packed with some vicious self burns near the end there.

Sadly, I lost track of the video after hearing that DOB played clarinet in the high school marching band, as the audio was drowned out by my high pitched glee-scream about Dan playing the same instrument I did in marching band. I can clear out all of the other information in my brain, for I now know the best fact.

I think Skynet purposely sucks at killing John Connor cuz being self aware it knows tht without John leading a human Resistance it would have no purpose. If they exterminated him and all humans what then? Skynet's primary purpose has always been for war. Thus it has created a convoluted plan for killing John which also happens to ensure its own failure at the same time. The whole cycle is designed to repeat for eternity. It loses the war and gets destroyed while simultaneously ensuring its recreation via plot of first movie. Plots 2nd & 3rd movie are Skynet trying to ensure John stays motivated and reminded of his purpose. The stop and create it.

"why do the terminators use infiltration tactics" watch the first film again, it's specifically stated that the 800 series (and the earlier failed 600 series) were infiltration units, kyle explains this (and it even shows one 800 unit infiltrating a resistance bunker) their whole job is to use low key methods to sneak in and eliminate key targets (or take out resistance cells) it's the battlefield endoskeleton units that are the infantry. (which is why they don't have skin, it would be a waste of resources)
