Hiya, I hope u don't mind me saying this, But storing ur ink pads on their sides really isn't a good idea. Eventually all of the ink will sink to the bottom and when u use them u will have a dry side and a saturated side where they have been stored on the side. Normally it will state on them to store them flat and not on the side edge, like u have ur others stored on the wall behind ur desk. BTW u have an amazing workspace and I really do envy u lol. OMG, Simon, you must be a very old soul; not only are you a gifted and greatly talented artist, but you are so organized! You are amazing. I am nearing 71 years young, and just started stamping 3 years ago, and I am still struggling. I think that if you have a good organizational system, it takes some of the pressure off creating when everything is easily accessible. Once again, thank you for an inspiring video.

I have literally been watching every craft room tour available for about 2 months. I like your system better than any other except for maybe the Queen, Jennifer McGuire. But it was built for a professional operation and is wonderful, but not practical for my income. Or my small senior apartment. Your system is doable for anyone, and over time I could see myself acquiring a setup much like yours with the great pieces from IKEA and elsewhere. You put a lot of thought and planning for growth into your build. Yet , it doesn’t look junky or busy and seems to be a very comfortable and inviting environment. My hat is off to you, young man. Your wonderful crafting talent flows over into organizing skills. Thank you for sharing so that this newly moved crafter could find exactly what I have been searching for. I would love crafting in your room any day.

Amazing! I'd kill for the system on your back wall. Glad your dad is so supportive of your hobby - that's wonderful! If you live with your parents, there's only one drawback -- you'll never be able to leave - LOL! Thanks for sharing this with us. You've given us all good ideas to organize more effectively.

Oh my, you did exactly the same thing as we did in my craft room with the Alex drawer units. We had to make them all the same height, and so, we mounted them on to a base and added the desk top to bring them up. It works great!

Simon, what an awesome crafting room you have. Your soooo organized. What I like the most is everything is pretty much covered up. I have terrible allergies and need to keep as dust free as possible. I like also how you connected the Alex drawers together and used the cubbies to make them even. Thanks so much for sharing. Your an inspiration 😎

I've been binge streaming craft room your videos lately as I try to design my own. This by far is my favorite room. Maybe not my dream room but definitely one that I could see myself working cohesively. I really like how your drawers are set up, and how everything has a place! I would just like to say that I really appreciate your room. Totally functional and achievable. I know I'll never have a room like Jen M's. I could never commit that kind of room or funds to it, as crafting is not my profession. I do feel like your solutions are within reach and I did love to see your mess by your vagabond. It just confirms that you are a real boy, (more like man now) and that is comforting to those of us with 19 year old sons that are also just this side of perfection. 😉. Keep up the good work and I wish you much luck.

Hi Simon, Love it. I like how you said that you started with 2 stamp sets and ink. Well I'm new to this. My work space is my coffee table, (for the time being). I've managed to gather up 12 sets in the last 5 months. I've been buying them when they're on clearance. I love how you used a kitchen island, great idea. I think that is my favorite piece of furniture in your room. Thanks for the tips too.

Such a great creative space! Organizing for me allows me to be more creative and less frustrated searching for things. I especially like the ink storage on the wall and just love the IKEA units. Hi there Simon aka Mr. Inklipse! I wish that you were my son! You've definately inspired me to get my crafty space/room organized. My dearly departed son - May 25th 2015 - used to keep me (and his Dad) hyper organized!! We ran a pretty tight ship - the three of us - together! Tonic Studios/Nuvo, Hunkydory, Hero Arts and 'SIR' Tim Holtz/Ranger/Sizzix, etc. (all the companies really that 'our' Timmie has his inky fingers on/in) float my boat too - along with Stampin' Up! of course! I like that you have everything neatly stored away into drawers and cupboards with sliding drawers. Even your waste-paper bin / trash can looks neat and tidy! I have two mini British style dust-bin/cart thingies! Lol! The round retro metal one reminds me of 'Top Cat' and Tim's Crazy Cats! I'm pretty much sorted as to what I want my craft room/studio/office/day-room to look like! I have to be a lot more thrifty with my furniture and fixture and fittings than you and others are/have been. I LOVE your kitchen unit/ island and work top idea - it brings amore homely /cosey environment into the office don't you think? Also the DIY top for the other side of the room is a great idea. I think the different boards you have (cut offs) for filming on are a great idea - neatly stacked away when not in use! Your Mum has trained you well with the protective matting and rubber feet! MOMS/MUMS RULE what goes on inside the house! Even in their son's office/play room! ;) Love your display area! Love the IKEA stuff but unless it's BRITISH / labour intensive - it doesn't get much attention from a certain someone's wallet!!! I'll let you know what else I use and sneak into d'house when his back's turned. You have a brand new subscriber - meeee! Tfs - xOx ~ Mrs. D. ~

Great crafting space! I love that you’ve given yourself room to grow. I did that when we made a room for my crafting and now I’m glad we did as I’m using it. I didn’t read all the comments but am glad that someone told you about the oxide inks being stored flat. I also was told to keep my Copics horizontally stored and the same for colored pencils. Love the kitchen island setup. We debated about doing the same but for now I’m using a table with storage under it. Love your videos, keep up the good work and thanks so much for sharing.

An enviable space indeed! I love the use of drawers as your main storage. I have drawers in my craft room - but can't seem to organise them so well! Nice! My granddaughter loves you she is 15 and her crafting is new as mine is and we share space..organize is my favorite word! Being retired space has to be customized and cheap ☺️ your room looks very nice! I built a ink storage box and need to build another Shelby labeled it and our ink pad storage is Velcro on chipboard and we stuck it to the wall..again Shelby labeled it ...Love your system!

I've only been into crafting for a few months but I have a bad habit of buying things I see in videos 😁 and stuff has just exploded everywhere in a corner of my room so I desperately need some storage.
