Craftsman V20 Pressure Washer No Start Repair

Repairing a #Craftsman V20 battery start gasoline powered pressure washer. This pressure washer was unable to start after allegedly being able to run a few weeks prior with gas purchased a little before then (perhaps four weeks old at this point).

Haven’t used my pressure washer in over a year, had your exact starting issues and I followed your tutorial to the ”T”, and I owe you a beer partner. Took about 15-20 minutes, and got me back up and running.

Thanks! with your help, I fixed the problem of the old gas remain in the carburetor.

Great Video. I got a used Craftsman 2800 psi Power Washer too, but never used it. Don't have the circular spray nozzle, but that one looks like one I need. So will Google where I can get one. Thanks again for the Great Video. KZfaq is truly, us DIY guys Savior, as it's our "go to" Channel.

Happy to help! Not sure why Craftsman only sold this for what I think was a single year. It's a great idea to combine the power of gas with the convenience of electric start with common battery.

Just figured id add to this. Idk if it was just mine but it had what looked like a foam filter in the tank that got eaten by the gasoline and ultimately clogging the carb. Same exact symptoms as yours and this fixed mine so just a thought… maybe it wasnt the gas it was that?

Interesting, that is a terrible idea for fuel filter I never knew that might have been there. Good food for thought.

Thanks for the comment, I've been having the same issue with mine, and I did everything but spray the jets. Maybe now I'll get to use it for the 2nd time in over 3 years!
